Saving Our Institutions: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has always been a man of brilliance and integrity, but something he told an audience recently really resonated with Americans who are growing weary of the Left’s destruction of our culture and society.
During a speech at a Federalist Society conference in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, Thomas needled Democratic Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey over his “I am Spartacus” clown show during the Supreme Court confirmation hearings last week for Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

Sorry, as good as it maybe, I can’t seem to get past the notion of a “governing class” of society. Particularly from a sitting SCOTUS member.
IMHO I think they should always be referred to as “Our Elected” officials.

We all listened to the Rino’s and voted for Sarah Palin. Obama won anyway.
I had the honor of meeting Justice Thomas by chance at Cigar Afficianado event held at a DC hotel in 1994. Just walked right up to him and shook his hand and he was gracious enough to talk to me for 2-3 minutes about my hometown, cigars, and a few other small matters. His good humor and civility shined right through. Never forget it.

The US has not managed to abolish the notion of a hierarchy, and that hierarchy does not only include elected officials.
There is a leadership stratum in every category, political, bureaucratic, commercial, educational, you name it.

Dear Justice Thomas:
You can’t have a “civil society” when one side openly talks about murdering our President, openly talks about murdering Republicans, and basically wants a communist revolution.
Those days are gone.
I wrote a letter to Clarence Thomas a year or two after he was confirmed telling him I was with him during the confirmation hearings and that when my (then) 2 Y.o, daughter was in school and learning about Black History month that I would make sure she would know about his own humble beginnings.
He actually wrote me back the most gracious appreciative letter on Supreme Court stationary. I treasure it that letter to this day. God Bless Justice Thomas.
