“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” Sen. Feinstein said. “That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”
The letter was reportedly written by someone affiliated with Stanford University, who is not the subject of the letter, and was originally sent to Rep. Anna Eshoo, who represents California’s 14th district, before being passed along to Feinstein. A spokesperson for Eshoo’s office declined to comment on the matter.
You are right. I knew that but should have been clearer in my comment.
But I am not sure if we even know if whoever was the subject of the letter is a woman.
No one knows who wrote the letter. No one knows who is the subject of the letter.
I give them credit. They’ve gotten away with the Russia smear for two years and now this. We aren’t even on the same ball field as these sick people and they could care less what we think. I’m sure Paul Ryan’s and McConnell will be right on the offense over this.
And then Freepers can pile on, declare Kananaugh an idiot and a poor candidate, and say he deserved the mistreatment.
More likely they are just delaying until the elections in case they take the Senate back. Then they'll refuse to confirm any Trump appointees for the next two years.
