President Trump May Be Preparing A Little Surprise Of His Own
Freedom Outpost ^ | 09/09/2018 | ELIZABETH VAUGHN

Posted on 09/09/2018 10:07:49 PM PDT by MaxistheBest

Chris Wallace says that the Woodward Book, the anonymous NYT op-ed, and Obama’s fiery speech were a “1-2-3 Punch” combination on Trump this week. But the word is that President Trump may be about to launch a devastating counterattack. It certainly looks that way.

The word is that the White House legal team is examining the original FISA Court application and renewal applications for the warrant to surveil Carter Page. As President Trump considers declassifying the 20 pages of these documents that were released completely (or heavily) redacted this summer, as many in Congress have requested, the White House wants to be certain that if anything needs to remain redacted, it will. Otherwise, the documents will be ready for declassification.

Trump alludes to it in a recent tweet:

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump The Deep State and the Left, and their vehicle, the Fake News Media, are going Crazy - & they don’t know what to do. The Economy is booming like never before, Jobs are at Historic Highs, soon TWO Supreme Court Justices & maybe Declassification to find Additional Corruption. Wow!

7:19 AM - Sep 6, 2018 128K 67.2K people are talking about this Twitter Ads info and privacy During an interview last week with Vince Coglianese and Saagar Enjeti of The Daily Caller, Trump was asked, “Do you think you’re going to be declassifying the FISA documents that have been targeting your campaign?” His answer was somewhat cryptic.

Well, we’re looking at it very seriously right now because the things that have gone on are so bad, so bad. I mean they were surveilling my campaign. If that happened on the other foot, they would’ve considered that treasonous. They would’ve considered that spying at the highest level. Can you imagine if we were doing that to Obama instead of Obama and his people doing that to us? Everybody would’ve been in jail for the next 500 years. Okay? Can you believe it, where they paid this guy millions of dollars, it turned out? If you look at all of the things that are happening.

Investigative reporter and journalist Sara A. Carter wrote that she has been told by numerous sources that the 20 pages of redacted material from these documents are expected to be declassified. The DOJ has been vehemently opposed to declassifying this information. Congressional members and investigators who have viewed the unredacted documents claim that they reveal explosive information about the FBI’s handling of the Trump-Russia investigation, according to sources. Why else would the DOJ fight so hard against their declassification?

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) appeared on Hannity recently and said, “The remaining classified documents regarding Page need to be declassified because there is exculpatory evidence…the judges should have been presented with this exculpatory evidence that the FBI and DOJ had.”

Another Congressional official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said, “All these documents will expose how the FBI handled this investigation and give clarity to the public. The American people deserve to know the truth and our country needs to move on.”

The importance of DOJ official Bruce Ohr’s role in this saga has only recently been uncovered. It was revealed that Ohr was in frequent communication by email and text with Christopher Steele and also met with him on numerous occasions, both before and after the FBI fired Steele for speaking to the media. Following Steele’s termination, the FBI wanted to continue receiving his information and counted on Ohr to provide it. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) said:

The first guy that Bruce Ohr speaks to after meeting with Steele is Andy McCabe. Ohr calls him up a day or two later and meets with McCabe and Lisa Page.

So all the key people at the FBI know what’s going on before they take the dossier into the court. They know the full details of the dossier, they know who wrote it, who paid for it…and we don’t believe they conveyed any of that critical information to the FISA Court…

It was reported that a grand jury has been impaneled to investigate former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Although it will likely be a lengthy process, it will be interesting to see if McCabe agrees to turn against his former colleagues in exchange for leniency.

Another new and noteworthy piece of the puzzle involves the relationship between Bruce Ohr and Andrew Weissmann, who is the Mueller team’s lead prosecutor. In 2016, Weissmann was the chief of the DOJ’s criminal fraud division.

According to Fox News’ Catherine Herridge, “Weissmann was “kept in the loop” by Ohr about his contact with Steele and the FBI, according to the report.”

Earlier this year, Sara Carter reported that:

Before Weissmann was appointed to the Special Counsel, he arranged a meeting with AP journalists investigating Paul Manafort and his Ukrainian business dealings. On April 11, 2017 Weissmann, the AP reporters and several FBI officials Weissmann brought into the meeting met with the reporters.

On April 12, the AP published the explosive expose on Manafort.

According to sources who spoke with this news outlet, the meeting was attended by three different litigating offices. Two employees from the U.S. Justice Department and the other representative was from the U.S. Attorney’s office, according to the sources. FBI agents also attended the meeting, law enforcement sources confirmed.

At the time Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller, and chief Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores also declined to comment.

According to sources, FBI officials at the meeting complained about Weissmann’s failure to follow protocol with journalists. They issued a formal complaint against him to the Justice Department, as they were concerned the meeting with the journalists could harm the ongoing probe into Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election.”

The interrelationships in Washington are almost incestuous. Everyone who has spent any serious time in the city knows almost everyone else in some capacity. This is why the law states that “The Special Counsel shall be selected from outside the United States Government.” The selection of Robert Mueller, who has spent his entire career working for the US Government, actually violated the law.

So, once again, we are left to wait. Labor Day has past and the midterm elections are two months away. Does Trump release the documents that the deep state has fought so hard to keep classified? If so, when? Now, or does he wait for an October surprise?

And you know that because you have seen the FISA applications? They may be helpful, but there is no reason to believe the FISA applications clearly state the wrongdoing of DOJ officials. I assume they’re helpful based on all the commentators saying so, but it’s hard to imagine they are definitive.

The original FISA warrant, and WHO signed it... finishes: Mueller and his investigation, Rosenstein and his job, the “recusal frame up” of Sessions (no basis for any “non action” in his “job”as AG (which if he does not do the now open things needed to be done, indictments and prosecutions— he can then be fired... period).

Maybe. But just because Sara Carter, Greg Jarrett and Sean Hannity keep saying this, doesn’t mean it’s so. This information has been known for a long time, it just hasn’t been released publicly. I assume it’s helpful but the idea that Mueller, Roenstein, etc suddenly get fired/ go to jail seems fanciful. I hope it’s so but a FISA application by its very nature is not the kind of document which will resonate with most Americans. Trump may use it as a basis for action, which is fine. I assume it relies on the dossier. Democrats already know that and have their counter arguments ready.

It’s only a question of timing if the redacted material presented with the FISA warrant was done for personal reasons to protect authorities responsible for sign-off, e.g. Mueller, McCabe. Such an act is a felony. The Congressional report included the material unredacted, and the resulting Congressional report stated no criminal activity on part of Trump was alleged.

I thought Trump was using the parade to have military accessible for detention of persons arrested over this matter. Guess he feels he doesn’t need it now.

"...Declassifying that stuff is fine but I fail to see how it’s a knock out punch against anyone..."

I would suggest (if you haven't already) that you listen to the Dan Bongino show from Friday 9/7/2018 at Ep. 802 Is Justice Coming?

I suggest going to the 30 min mark of the podcast and listening forward from there (up to that point it is about the behavior of Leftists at the Kavanaugh hearings)

Dan Bongino got a major unsolicited shout out from President Trump at his rally in Montana last week, and he should, because Dan Bongino is one of the people who has strung all of this together in one place, using information derived from people like John Solomon, Chuck Ross, Jeff Carlson, and Sarah Carter, all of whom are doing the work that a real media would do, if they weren't total shills for the Left.

Of key importance is the LAST renewal of the FISA warrant to see what is in it (or as Dan Bongino waggishly puns, "Ohr, what ISN'T in it.)

This is crucially and vitally important to look at, for the simple reason (from the John Solomon article at the Dan Bongino link):

From the article: "...But multiple sources tell me the FBI soon received information — now considered highly classified — that undercut the theory of the Papadopoulos case. One source described the evidence as “indisputably exculpatory,” while another said the information “put the predicate used to start the case in reversal...”

That may not sound like much, but it is huge. Because that "exculpatory" information was known by the FBI (and there is no doubt that John Solomon has real, and accurate sources) BEFORE the last approved FISA Warrant renewal. But multiple sources tell me the FBI soon received information — now considered highly classified — that undercut the theory of the Papadopoulos case. One source described the evidence as “indisputably exculpatory,” while another said the information “put the predicate used to start the case in reversal.”

If the "Paragraph 1" of the FISA Warrant is still trying to leverage George Papadopoulous, and they DID NOT INCLUDE THE "EXCULPATORY" INFORMATION, THEN THE WHOLE CASE MULLER IS INVESTIGATING IS PRIMA FACIE DEAD AND INVALID. NO TWO WAYS AROUND IT.

THAT is why it is so important.

For the people behind this, there were four separate attempts to get information out of the NSA database (and remember...if ANY of these worked, they had legal access to ALL the information they had already pulled out of the database illegally, because the FISA Warrant allows hops of two contacts from the primary going back five full years):

So that is the BIG question: Was that exculpatory information KNOWN by the FBI INCLUDED on that last FISA Warrant application in June 2017?

THAT'S why it is so important. And it is pretty obvious that many people understand this, including Trump himself. It will sink their entire narrative.

Their narrative already is sunk. You know all this already. The absence of some information is not going to stop their investigations. You know and I know the real basis for an investigation was politics. I do listen to Bongino. If he, Carter, Jarrett, Hannity etc were running things it would be different. They aren’t. Hey, I wish Trump fired Mueller, Rosenstein about a year ago and still hope he does.

I think he is going to fire him after the election in November.

Yes...their narrative IS already sunk. But with the willing complicity of the Media, which is trying to pretend there is nothing amiss about this until after the elections, the narrative continues like a Dead Man Walking.

Huber, Hatch and .... Harry Reid— all of them are Mormons, under the direction of the corrupt cabal that “legally” manages the mobster paradise of ... Las Vegas (where obamaumao visited, how many times, and collected... how much cash right into AF1? Like ole hitlery and her State Dept. “diplomatic bag/plane” in which she “historically” visited more foreign countries than “any other SecState”— and at each one collected Clinton Global Initiative/Foundation CASH to be laundered through Canada and into their accounts. Unbelievable criminal grifting-— and uh, “lost” somehow 6 billion in contracts— that is.. lost 6 billion US taxpayers dollars in payments, lost paperwork to accomplish this “laundry”. Major major criminal acts.

I agree Trump intends to fire them after the election. But of course if he has a Democrat House he’ll be impeached and face a lot of squishy RINOs in the Senate.

Cranked into the equation is the separation of powers, and the compromising— long ago— of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice has direct control over the FISA Court judges and process.

Here’s the kicker— the illegal warrants to spy were completely fabricated from the dossier (all in clear info at this point) and signed off on by various people who have squirmed repeatedly and publicly to deflect their responsibility (again, all done because they thought hitlery would win and cover HER OPERATION, and obamaumao’s direct executive control).

Recall Justice Roberts’ complete 180 degree rewrite for the majority in the obamaumaocare individual Mandate (tax or not a tax mandate)? Roberts was blackmailed by obamaumao (the chicago way) about his adopted children, who were adopted Irish heritage orphans... through Brazil. There is much written about this— reams in fact and great investigative work.

obamaumao is still at work, still controlling this part of the equation.... still blackmailing Roberts (who, were he to be forced to step down by the FISA fiasco of rubber stamping illegal surveillance of US citizens, would need to be replaced by Trump appointment- again dramatically changing the court makeup).

IMHO this “game play” of obamaumao (and ValJar- don’t forget her or Sid blumenthal, and above all the Podestas) is still on— Roberts is under “control”. It is the way it works. Only problem now is Trump knows all this— at the top of the currently running intel briefings. (For all we know- there are actual truly sourced FISA warrants in place— from Trump).

obamaumao knew ALL of this FISA fakery, tried to play it off and head fake it-— BUT it is IN his Presidential Daily Briefings.... which Trump’s people now have (and Patriot thanks to Admiral Rogers with the intercepts).

Something to think about, and something to digest, and not take a pessimistic view, in spite of the “contest” inside the Beltway of all of the trough eaters— gop-e and dinop-e
There is a tipping point somewhere in the overwhelming mil-industrial-medical complex Eisenhower warned against. All the support beams are being pulled, and their “rice bowls” are being taken away— a dangerous time. A time for Patriots way outside the Rat warrens of D.C.

That’s why I think this whole investigation is ridiculous. It would never stand up in court. In fact, I think it gives Trump a strong hand to countersue for malicious prosecution.
