A food truck owner in Detroit, Michigan says she won’t serve police officers or other law enforcement officials because she, along with the “majority” of her customers, “do not feel safe around law enforcement agents.”
The owner of Rocky’s Road Brew, Rocky Coronado, wrote on Facebook Friday that she is “well within [her] rights to refuse service to law enforcement agents,” such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, and local police officers.

Amazing how if you just read and pay attention how many people will out themselves.
I always thought that gaijin was a pretty stand up guy.
Don’t misunderstand me; I don’t think that all cops (or whatever law enforcement group) are honest and dedicated, there is corruption in all branches of government, that is just human nature.
But painting with such a broad brush is crap, pure crap.
I believe that 99.8 % of law enforcement is honest and trying desperately to do their duty.

Rocky Coronado likely means really stupid in some language.
Here is a fool who does a primarily cash business on the street. The armed robbers surely know it.
Who ya gonna call, Rocky, when you get robbed? What is the likelihood that police arrive in a timely manner? Or at all? Maybe they don’t want to serve you, as they just don’t like street vendors. That’s fair, isn’t it?
Note also that EMS wears a uniform, so you better not refuse them when they come to pick up your shot up body.
Kind of like the idiot who verbally accosted me for wearing a gun because it was so damn terrifying that someone would walk around with such a thing - he felt so dang unsafe he had no problem trying to antagonize me....idiots are what idiots do...they feel perfectly safe that the officers will not retaliate...

On a serious note, I support her right to refuse service.
Can this truck pass a food safety and sanitation inspection?
Are you on a conservative board suggesting that the government use it's bureaucracy to force behavior on a citizen?
Law enforcement officers should remember when a armed robbery call comes in.
And then professionally carry out their sworn duties.
Right?
If the inspector is also a city employee, I'm sure inter department cooperation could see to it that inspections occur say, every 6 hours or so.
That's right out of the liberal playbook.
