A food truck owner in Detroit, Michigan says she won’t serve police officers or other law enforcement officials because she, along with the “majority” of her customers, “do not feel safe around law enforcement agents.”
The owner of Rocky’s Road Brew, Rocky Coronado, wrote on Facebook Friday that she is “well within [her] rights to refuse service to law enforcement agents,” such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, and local police officers.

If the inspector is also a city employee, i'm sure inter department cooperation could see to it that inspections occur say, every 6 hours or so.

Just keep a cop car parked in her parking lot, if the customers are truly scared then it’ll kill her business.
Imagine a squad car pulls up with two cops carrying their own coffee and a couple of fold up chairs seated facing the order spot on her truck. I wonder how many customers she would have if they are all afraid of the police. Heck they could just park right by her truck and look interested.

Taking sort of a broad swipe there, aren’t you? A “lot” of cops...I’ll bet you can’t name two.
You slam cops like that, and then turn around and try to pander, with the “Trayvon” and “gentle giant” comments; you can’t have it both ways.
Most cops are working a job, a shift, to earn money to support their families; this isn’t the old west, where they gave the sheriff extra money for every arrest.
The worst thing that could happen to this country would be to lose law enforcement.
I love the cops, they’re ALL worth it to me.

She'll call 911, and when the fact that the robbery is already over is assessed, there won't be a lot of alacrity in the response to the call. And no one in the chain will be aware of who's calling, but she'll sue anyway.

They're usually exempt, which is why they've become so popular in many places.
On the other hand, mighty nice truck you have there, it'd be a shame if it was stolen and striped.
