A jewelry store in Massachusetts has come under fire after their billboard showing a man proposing to a woman on the football field was called racist.
The billboard advertising Garieri Jewelers in Sturbridge, Mass., reads: “If you’re going to take a knee this season, please have a ring in your hand!” The billboard, which was located on Route 20 in Charlton, was set up on Saturday.

Racist. That needs to be explained, in case any Martians are reading this and don’t know why the f*ck any earthling would call this racist.
You see, Mr Martian, there are several races. A race is what earthlings call people with similar skin shades. You wouldn’t understand, because on Mars this doesn’t exist. Well, one race blames another race for all its problems. Not finished yet. Earthlings have this game they like, called football. Many of the players are of the Black race, and they are paid huge sums of money, just like the White race players.
At the beginning of each game the stadium plays a song of respect to the country in which the game is played. Are you still with me? Good. Well, it seems that a few of the Black players refused to stand for the song, and instead knelt down so the cameras could catch them and the viewers would be able to see very clearly that they knelt down. WHY they refused to show respect for the song that represents the country is very difficult to explain, seeing that the Black players get huge sums of money, same as the White players. I know that’s hard to understand, and I don’t either, but the media covered their protest and played the tapes over and over again.
This is a leap, so stay with me. The jewelry store billboard depicted a White man on his knees in front of a White woman, asking her to marry him. (This is a nice Earth custom. Too bad you don’t have it on Mars.) Some supporters of the Black players who knelt in protest saw the billboard and got angry. You see, Mr Martian, the Black players are blaming the entire race of White people for something - I don’t know what, because they get huge salaries and easy access to women, plus they can get away with more things than other players. So the supporters of the Black players are mad because the billboard has a White man kneeling. This is hard for me to understand too, Mork. It looks like the supporters think that a White man who kneels hates Blacks who kneel. Sorry, that is the part I don’t get.
Do they have this kind of thing on Mars? I didn’t think so. Maybe you’d better go back there since the Earth is full of this kind of hysterical insanity.

It used to be that polite people did not discuss politics or religion. It probably isn’t safe to make any reference to anything. Perhaps future advertising should feature sexless, raceless cartoon characters. Maybe bathroom humor is still okay. “Here, pull my ring finger.”

On the OTHER hand...how often DO we see black men marrying their Baby Mamas?
Maybe the NFL Pukes could start setting a better example as in marrying FIRST, THEN pro-creating.
And, if it’s not TOO much to ask - stick around, love your wife and kids and not beat them. At least not on video.
