Fox News is President Donald Trump’s favorite network, thanks to its largely favorable coverage. But not everyone on the air there was singing his praises.
On Thursday, A.B. Stoddard, an associate editor at Real Clear Politics and a regular on the network, said the anonymous op-ed published this week in The New York Times that claimed there were people in the White House actively working against Trump was likely to set the president off.
“I think this writer believes that they’re trying to calm down the country and assure everybody who’s nervous about President Trump’s temperament that all’s well,” Stoddard told Fox News host Shepard Smith.
“What this author has done, though, is sort of encouraged probably more paranoia and more rage on the part of the president,” she added. “He’s going to do something to change the topic, so he’s going to do something probably dramatic to get our focus onto something else. He’s likely to purge the people around him... he tends to like to change news cycles with dramatic actions.”

It was on Shep F’ing Smith’s show. That’s ALL that needs to be said about anything on his show. Neal Cavuto is not far different either. Trump must have took a bite out of his donut in grammar school.

I actually agree with her but for a different reason. I think the op ed was specifically designed to enrage The Pres and get him to do something irrational at best and dangerous at worst. This to, along with whatever drivel Mueller can create, open the door for impeachment and or the 25th Amendment. So far POTUS has not risen to the bait, except for some extreme tweets. If he keeps his cool, I expect another oped to emerge and maybe with luck and Sessions awake a conspiracy to undermine the POTUS can be uncovered.
Any time Stoddard appears on a show should give you cause to suspect the host of that show is liberal. I can’t stand that sourpuss. She always looks like she’s sucking a lemon.
