I believe that we should end abortion on demand, and at every opportunity I have translated this belief into votes in the House of Representatives. I am opposed to the use of federal funds to pay for elective abortions, and will continue to support amendments to prohibit the funding of elective abortions for federal employees and Medicaid recipients. Also, notwithstanding the result in Webster, I continue to believe that the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade should be reversed.

Another example of the Democrats own version of the theory of evolution...
Democrats and RINOs follow the low-information votes to get reelected, like other people follow the money.
But after they get reelected, Democrats and RINOs follow the money until next election year.

Isn’t it funny how videos can come back to haunt you?
Democrats don’t flip flop, they just evolve....and that can happen more than one time.
Incredibly, Ruth Bader Ginsburg suggest as much herself.

Durbin is from the more conservative downstate IL. He went way left to primary the incumbent Sen. Dixon in the Democrat 1992 Democrat primary.
Durbin is a classical hypocritical opportunist: He played at being conservative when he represented a district centered in the Springfield area. He was pro-life and pro-gun while in the Illinois General Assembly and the US House of Representatives. He moved to the far left when he entered the US Senate and needed votes from Chicago.
Too bad the Judge at his hearing didn’t have this letter and read it out loud to the committee. Woooeeee, that would of been a crap storm.
