Wouldn’t a letter by Trump be on official letterhead paper not just printer paper. I could have printed that on my printer.

That means that your perception of the President as being against global trade is not only wrong, but really, really wrong. President Trump is promoting trade.

Right, it is all how you define trade. The word trade and the word tariff mean nothing used alone. They both need qualifiers to make sense. All forms of trade are not good but you cannot admit that because you are some kind of religious free trade globalist zealot and traitor.

Ok, I will give you chance, YES or NO is one sided "free trade" ( and you know what I mean by that ) with the accompanying huge trade deficits bad for both America's economy and the American worker?

It seems you accept Woodward’s word at face value such as believing Cohn stole a memo off POTUS’s desk.

Maybe he did or maybe he didn’t.

You don’t know but you write and post as if you were there witnessing it.

Why is that?

If we could get to the end of these trade imbalances, we wouldn’t need tariffs or taxes or any of these other punitive deals; we could have genuine, fair, and free trade. But, you know, where is it written the United States is supposed to take it on the chin in these deals? And what this is, I’ll tell you, it’s no more complicated than Donald Trump looking out for the average American citizen, whereas the Washington political class really hasn’t and doesn’t.

Wrong Ace, Trump is a Fair Trader and/or a No Trader until such time we get trade barriers dropped world wide ( which ain’t never going to happen ).

There never has been and never will be Free Trade. Nations will always act in their own best interest.

I don't worry about trade imbalances nor American workers that are unable to compete. There will always be trade imbalances and labor competition. The textile industry moved from England to Massachusetts to the Carolinas because of labor and manufacturing costs.

Americans are not entitled to specific jobs, be that working in a paint brush factory or working in IT. Labor is a commodity to be purchased where ever available at the best cost and quality.

Regarding “one sided”. We are Americans. We will exert our excellance and prevail

This is what makes you a Free Traitor™. This is why the USA is lurching towards socialism. Frankly, I can't blame them. Globalism and free traitors, like you, are facilitating it. FOAD - today hopefully.

The textile industry moved from England to Massachusetts to the Carolinas because of labor and manufacturing costs.

Then moved to the third world! You are such an idiot( or a traitor ), in your pea brain there is no difference in moving a mill from MA to NC or Sichuan Province. This thinking is radical and destructive BEYOND BELIEF. That is why you a traitor. You have no country I would say 200 years ago you'd have been tarred and feathered(or worse). You don't love the USA just admit it.

An “international business man” is someone who does business across national boundaries. To me, that is not identical to a “globalist”.

President Trump is an international business man - he has built and operates multiple properties around the world. But I do not see him as a globalist - and his presidency is certainly anything but globalist.

Cohn should be fired immediately and serve the rest of his life in prison. Why hasn’t he? Or is this more fake news.

All they know is how to destroy, whether it is people, institutions, traditions or countries.>>>>>>>>>>>>

Which is why the “new left” must be stopped cold, and put into the trash bin of history.

No Joke.

Bingo. And you capture the problem. With very little to go on, Baghdad Bob Woodward conjures up the most negative possible scheme for something that can be totally innocuous. Always taken out of context and he applies a biased approach to feed the DNC-media narrative that Trump is crypto National Socialist ruining the world.
It has become so common a technique it is no longer working for them. A child can see through it.

That alleged scan is proof of nothing. It’s not on letterhead. I can produce a document exactly like that on my laptop and claim it’s from the Oval Office.

Woodward is a known liar and fabulist.

Why? easy. One would think, at first mention of his name, a man such as Cohn with hundreds of millions at his disposal, would have an army of attorneys tearing Cohn and his publisher apart by first daylight, for defamation, implication of a crime, crossing the road too slow, etc etc. It’s not the first article Cohn’s name has been mentioned in connection with Woodward’s book. But it is the first article that has posted the actual memo from the pages of the book. Which, somehow, I just don’t think TDM has forged.

Was the NYT Op Ed created by Woodward as a Deep Throat promotion of his book?

I like the way you think...
