Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
Uh oh. Multiple flight origins, sounds like a coördinated effort to get infectious people into America's heart.

It’s a test run for a biological attack.
Profile everyone on those planes.
We’re approaching 9/11 anniversary as well . . . test runs for something more serious?
Profile everyone on those planes.
Alternate thought: Check the air filtration and recirculation systems on those planes, as well as anything else common to them.
I say this because I don't get sick very often in general, but there's a much higher probability of my catching something on a flight. I can't be alone--ever see the number of Chinese who wear surgical masks on airplanes?
Nine posts and nobody said “they must have had the fish”???
C’mon folks, we are slipping
It should be mandatory that every post has an Airplane/Animal House/Python/Christmas Story allusion within the first few posts!
About a week away, for an illness with about a one week incubation period...
Don’t look at me I had the lasagna.
Doubt it’s a test. Flu tends to travel to new places via airplanes. It does seem to be a bit of a coincidence to dismiss at this time. Watch out for localised out breaks of something or people bleeding thru thier eyes.
My immediate thought, too. Testing the size of canister they can get past security and cabin dispersal.
9/11 anniversary next week. It falls on a Tuesday which is what 9/11/01 was.
No one taken to the hospital. No quarantine. Gee, what could possibly go wrong?
The ground crew could put a pretty large container in the ventilation system.
Nonsense. Its common to catch illnesses in international airports.
Individuals fall ill, yes. It’s happened to any frequent traveler.
But SIMULTANEOUSLY on two separate aircraft going to the same destination? That isn’t coincidence.
Paris, Frankfurt, and Dubai are not the same place.
