President Trump on Wednesday called for the New York Times to reveal the name of the anonymous administration official who wrote an op-ed article blasting him.
“Does the so-called ‘Senior Administration Official’ really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!” the president wrote in a tweet posted online at about 7:45 p.m.
The Times said in an explanation that went along with the op-ed — which was published Wednesday afternoon — that it knew the identity of the “senior official in the Trump administration” but was keeping it secret because the person’s job would be jeopardized. “We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers,” the Times wrote.
In the piece, the official, who is described as part of the “resistance,” said that “many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of [Trump’s] agenda and his worst inclinations.”
In anger over this, Trump earlier in the evening Wednesday tweeted only the word “TREASON?”

Trump has just set up legal justification for arresting the NYT criminals for sedition or treason.

This certainly is a national security issue, and Mr. Trump has the duty to find out who this person is, and remove him from his duties immediately. I hope Mr. Trump is able to get to the bottom of this immediately.
We would not, now, be in this mess, had others stood up for themselves and this nation, in the past! And THAT goes for EVERYTHING that the president has and continues to do.
If the text is genuine and the Times truthful to the author’s gender, someone might be able to study the writing style and come up with some likely candidates.
But I don’t trust the Times. Anyone could have written it (“man” or “woman”) and the Times coukd have had it _re_written to disguise the style. It could even be a work of fiction entirely.

Probably one of “rules” as a FReeper opposed me to say about my saying Omarosa was not supposed to record and then reveal private and confidential Situation Room White House discussions (because foreign entity representatives would never again speak truthfully to the President or Secretary of Defense or State within the White House again or see it played on a tabloid on CNN or NYT website).
A FReeper said Omarosa wasn’t illegal, only a ruler breaker.
OK. But also remember, Dems do not play by the rules and do not get prosecuted. Conservatives have to follow the law or get indicted and go to prison.

The content is a CLONE of the Woodward book excerpts, and may have been concocted purely to trigger Trump and portray utter chaos to affect the elections, as well as distracting Trump by forcing him to clean house, screen emails and calls, check for recording devices, etc.
