The father of one of the victims in the February school shooting in Parkland, Florida, approached Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday during a break from his Supreme Court confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill.
Fred Guttenberg tweeted that he went to shake Judge Kavanaughs hand and explain how his daughter was killed in the February massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, but said the judge pulled away because he did not want to deal with the reality of gun violence.

The security at that hearing should all be replaced for letting this guy with his political agenda get that close to Judge Kavanaugh.
Replaced and then shown the Exit door with a Fired For Cause pink slip.
Who else are they letting in?
Somehow its his fault, right? Suprised the Hogg didnt pull this stunt.
Mitch needs to get with chuck u shummer and tell him the hijinks stop.
The far left led by Barack Obama and the crimnal blacks thet lead the NAACP have the blood of the 17 on their hands.
Black politics killed the 17
He was invited in by a Rat I’m sure.

Sometimes photos only paint 500 words. This one missed the security guard quickly approaching Guttenberg from behind, something Kavanaugh no doubt saw from his point of view. White House has found footage, but of course the narrative is out there now.

I agree.

The REALITY is that security at that school was horrible and the Coward from Broward didn’t do the job he was supposed to do.
That’s REALITY.
If I was Kavanaugh I’d be scared because they obviously are not protecting him. There should have been at least two armed Capital Police with him at all times. We are fortunate no one stabbed him.
I think the intention is to frighten off competent conservatives so that no one will serve in office for Trump or any other Republican.
I am shocked at the lax security. Really bizarre. Was it always the loose?
This
Exactly, Judge Kavanaugh didn’t have a clue who this nut is.
What do you want to bet that this same father has not attempted to confront any of those in the long line of people who looked away when the FL shooter was sending out warning signs over several years or those who waited outside of the school, instead of trying to stop the shooter?
Because the left believes that only the GUN has anything to do with it.
The security in the hearing is awful. This guy could have been an assassin or just intending to punch Kavanaugh. No one who is not especially cleared should be able to approach him.
The video tells a different tale.

My heart goes out to the Guttenberg family, but Mr. Guttenberg is being dishonest here. And it was not a friendly introduction. Security blocked him from Judge #Kavanaugh, at which point Mr. Guttenberg can be seen on video pointing and yelling at the judge.
He may have confused him with Steve Guttenberg.
Yup the rats invite these people in to pull stunts like this and one could be a loon like the guy who shot up the baseball field. But then they don’t care they seem to love violence.
Pappy's only expertise is as a grieving father, and he has no business interfering in the constitutional confirmation of the next Supreme Court justice.
