Trump slams Sessions on Twitter, says AG is hurting GOP in midterms
Fox News ^ | 09/03/2018 | By Andrew O'Reilly

President Trump lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a string of tweets on Monday, accusing him of hurting Republican chances in the upcoming midterm elections with a series of Justice Department investigations.

“Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department,” Trump tweeted. “Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff.....”

The president apparently was referring to the current investigations into GOP Reps. Duncan Hunter of California and Chris Collins of New York. Fox News has reached out to the White House for additional clarification, and the Justice Department did not immediately respond.

Hunter and his wife, Margaret, were indicted last month on charges of illegally converting $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses and filing false records, while Collins was indicted earlier in August on insider-trading charges. Prosecutors pinpointed the alleged insider trading to June 2017, after Trump took office.

Trump also tweeted: “The Democrats, none of whom voted for Jeff Sessions, must love him now. Same thing with Lyin’ James Comey. The Dems all hated him, wanted him out, thought he was disgusting - UNTIL I FIRED HIM! Immediately he became a wonderful man, a saint like figure in fact. Really sick!”

Monday’s tweets continued a long-running gripe Trump has had with Sessions ever since the attorney general recused himself last year from the Russia investigation. Last month, the president tweeted that Sessions "doesn't understand what is happening underneath his command position" and told "Fox & Friends" that his attorney general had "never taken control of his department."

I might give Mr. Magoo a PASS if he appointed a Special Counsel for FBI corruption

I read one Q person today state that the plan is no longer Trust Sessions but it was really “ Trust Sessions for Now” , and Now is over so sessions must go. I kid you not. The new narrative is that Q always meant sessions was to be trusted to a point, but no more.

You cant make this stuff up.

He could just be trying to get out the idea that the indictments were political, and using criticism of Sessions as a vehicle to do that.

...
I assume you meant the indictments were NOT political, the 51,000 of them...in that case I agree.

Many here have no patience left...I do, and I trust the plan even if i am not privy to it.

And if Hunter's opponent is worse?

Probably is if it's a dem. I thought Hunter was one of the good guys. Fact is, we can't "drain the swamp" if we don't hold those who will remain to a very high standard.

I'm no longer confident the nation survives, unless President Trump does something, FAST, to bring those who honestly share his vision together with a unified, strong, positive message.

Yeah, the same Qook has been dropping the new QBS on several threads. How they lie to themselves is beyond rationality.

The Q group of larpers has been outed before, and now that Trump is getting ready to fire Sessions, they know the jig is up. But some of them have been monetizing their Q charade, and don’t want the gravy train to end. So they tossed out the “We meant Trust Sessions for awhile!” line to see if anyone is (hopefully) dumb enough to bite. They must be laughing their skinny little white butts off that it’s actually working.

Never underestimate the gullible.

These Qooks are constantly moving the goal post.
First it was wait until the IG reports came out.
Then it was Trump and Sessions were working together on some 3D plan.
Then it was Trust Sessions,
which really was Trust Sessions For now.
These Qooks need some mental health treatments.,

Any evidence to back that up? Trump’s approval is at an all time high.

He would have no cause to complain IF the DOJ were prosecuting dems as fervently (and publicly) as it is republican (or Trump) people.

Because that is NOT the case...Go ahead and rant, Mr. President.

The President could fire the US Attorneys persecuting Collins and Hunter.

I don’t see the point of doing this in public. President Trump can fire him any time he wants to.

But he doesn’t.

Public opinion is already heavily in favor of replacing Sessions, so these tweets won’t move the needle much, if at all.

If my beloved President is not please with Sessions (I mean no disrespect to Sessions) then he could replace him, right?

I don’t understand why Trump complains but does not act, if it is in his power to do so.

I trust him. I just don’t get it.

Let’s organize an Oust Sessions campaign.

Put pressure on your reps to call for his resignation

He’s being blackmailed. He needs to go
