President Trump lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a string of tweets on Monday, accusing him of hurting Republican chances in the upcoming midterm elections with a series of Justice Department investigations.
Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department, Trump tweeted. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff.....
The president apparently was referring to the current investigations into GOP Reps. Duncan Hunter of California and Chris Collins of New York. Fox News has reached out to the White House for additional clarification, and the Justice Department did not immediately respond.
Hunter and his wife, Margaret, were indicted last month on charges of illegally converting $250,000 in campaign funds for personal expenses and filing false records, while Collins was indicted earlier in August on insider-trading charges. Prosecutors pinpointed the alleged insider trading to June 2017, after Trump took office.
Trump also tweeted: The Democrats, none of whom voted for Jeff Sessions, must love him now. Same thing with Lyin James Comey. The Dems all hated him, wanted him out, thought he was disgusting - UNTIL I FIRED HIM! Immediately he became a wonderful man, a saint like figure in fact. Really sick!
Mondays tweets continued a long-running gripe Trump has had with Sessions ever since the attorney general recused himself last year from the Russia investigation. Last month, the president tweeted that Sessions "doesn't understand what is happening underneath his command position" and told "Fox & Friends" that his attorney general had "never taken control of his department."

Lost Sessions former seat to Dems ....
Well Sessions is working with the Dems
It’s not just hurting Republicans, it’s that he let DOJ Obama holdovers indict key Republicans right before the election. Im glad Democrats are so innocent they never get indicted.
Trump is pointing out, to the whole world, how the Justice Department is STILL blatently politicized. How Sessions completely failed, and is still failing.
Why? Simple. Building his case publically for his (soon) termination. Decision is made. Now he’s executing the plan.
(Not the Qook “Trust Sessions!” useful idiot plan)
Alright, enough is enough. Either Trump needs to stop publically berating Sessions, or fire him. Seriously. This is getting ridiculous.
Mr. President, I'm on ground here in the midterms (in the precincts); you're hurting us by not firing Sessions and the rest of the lot! My observation only, not speaking for anyone else.
He could just be trying to get out the idea that the indictments were political, and using criticism of Sessions as a vehicle to do that.
Trust Sessions.
Yeah, right.
Any day now, Jeff is going to unload thousands of indictments against the deep state and many others who working overtime to overthrow a duly elected president.
The Manchurian AG.
Republicans promised to be better when they held office. If they were misusing campaign funds. don’t blame AG Sessions for their swampy behavior.
Building Republican congressional support for firing Sessions.
Fox News tries to make Trump look like a liar with the following quote:
“Prosecutors pinpointed the alleged insider trading [against Rep. Chris Collins] to June 2017, after Trump took office.”
Fox News conceals the fact that Collins and five other Congressmen were under House Ethics investigations for the same stock - when Obama was president!
And if Hunter’s opponent is worse?
Notice you didn’t see any democrats criticizing Menendez WHEN HE WAS ON TRIAL FOR ACCEPTING HOOKERS PAID FOR BY CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTOR SOLOMON MELGEN. Nope, now he’s running for reelection and Obama, Pelosi, Schemer, et al still support him.
Trump is asleep. What the hell is wrong with him? Fire Sessions and appoint another temporary AG with some gonads.
I think you forgot the sarcasm tag.
Might i suggest a wall? Guess it’s easier to blame something or someone else.
