Ten people were shot and wounded Sunday evening in an exchange of gunfire at an apartment complex in San Bernardino, authorities said.
The incident was reported about 10:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of Lynwood Drive, said Capt. Rich Lawhead, spokesman for the San Bernardino Police Department.
The injured men and women were transported to three hospitals, Lawhead said. Three were listed in "extremely critical" condition, he said.
Witnesses told investigators that the wounded were in the complex's common area, possibly playing dice, when the gunfire erupted.
Multiple handguns and rifles were fired in the shooting, according to the captain. None of the weapons were recovered.
No arrests have been made.

Is it now time for common sense dice control?
San Bernadino has been transformed into Nuevo Chicago. Ah the joys of open borders, sanctuary cities and states, and resistance to Federal law enforcement. The vile Democrats have betrayed their country.
Lynwood Street looked liked South Central in the 90's.
You go gun free in that neighborhood at your own peril.
Seven out! Collect the pass line, pay the Don’ts!
Man, that sounds bad!
Wonder if the others were listed as slightly or moderately critical?
Yeah, I have volunteered once a month at a Catholic homeless shelter in SB for over 20 years and the area has never recovered from Norton AFB closing for many of the reasons you cited.
The game is losing popularity for a couple of reasons. The average fool just wants to play slots and the casinos have a hard time hiring people who can do the odds math in their heads.
It's also getting harder to find a table under $10, but there are a few around, some as low as $1.

Probably as this was Sunday the families got up early and attended church followed by family breakfasts. They then got into a caravan of cars that took food and clothing to the neediest people from a church donation program. Then most families gathered for a big picnic at the park.
As evening approached at home parents read from the Bible with their children gathered around and everyone gave their ideas about the meaning of the passages. Then kids were tucked in to they’d get enough sleep for tomorrow. Since no school on Labor Day they could sleep in.

Or, carryover grudges from suspected short drug packages caused a gambling game among drunks and doped up ex cons to quickly turn to violence as the first, not last, resort due to too much monoamine oxidase in their front brain areas.
P.S When I delivered the boxes of stuff to the needy in the Cub Scouts as a kid I noticed the “needy” often had a much bigger TV than my family’s. Made an impression about priorities.
Spent a lot of time there in the ‘60’s. Perfectly nice place then. I was a high school kid with no cares.
Yep,,,
I grew up in San Bernardino,,
San Diego was a good move for me.
