If you want to really understand why the Left, particularly the ‘tech industry’ guys, and government guys, are so damn Globalist, this quote is it (thanks for posting).
So look at it from a techie/government viewpoint. All you see at the ‘office’ at Google are Muslims with a very high level of education, who are generally good, maybe excellent workers, who have traditional families (i.e., one spouse and kids), and who seem to just want to live the American dream.
And so you project, and figure they (the 2 billion of them) must be the same, and you ‘compartmentalize’ those who fly airplanes into buildings and those who who strap bombs to themselves, and the Imams who call for the extermination of Western culture as just a few ‘outcasts’ - no better than our extremists (heck, we’re running a guy who recently said ‘monkey’...is that really any different than accidentally flying an airplane into a building? - we all have our extremists - if we stretch things enough).
So what really is the different? To me, it isn’t the fact that 20 people could plan something as complex and daring and suicidal as 9-11, it’s that they could get 20 people to do so, and then keep the plan silent - hundreds, probably thousands of people knew it was coming. I mean, you just don’t walk into a mosque and start asking people if they want to fly into buildings and kill themselves, expecting the typical response to be “Sure, print me a boarding pass, sounds like fun”...it took a lot of work to round up those nutcases (even from that bunch). Now think of your church, and see how far you get if you try to do the same recruiting...the FBI will be waiting for you before services end. That’s the difference.
Interesting how the Left was NEVER bothered by Communists doing their ‘re-education’ thing until they started applying it to Muslims.
They were JUST FINE with it as 10s of millions of non-Muslims were tortured and killed in 20th century in these same camps.
But now it bothers them?
They don’t welcome them in like the libs do? Well, the libs are the ones with no sense.. political correctness has no sense.
We are not a dictator country, but sometimes stupidity needs a red line.
Good. Lets not forget that during the cultural revolutions all disagreements with the state were seen as mental health issues. And of course re-education camps cropped up.
China might be the only country that could actively suppress an Islamic revolution through a counter resolution.

Yeah. There was a report of a muslim New Jersey school kid who a few days before 9/11 looked out the window across the Hudson and told his teacher those two buildings would be gone soon. His brother said don’t pay any attention to him, he has a vivid imagination.
More damning, is when I personally tabulated the fatalities by country of origin and found only one national of a majority muslim country among the listed dead.
THEY KNEW.
School kids, hundreds of WTC employees, and only God knows how many thousand mosque attendees KNEW, and they said nothing.

There is no freedom of religion in China. You must worship the government or be imprisoned. This approach applies to Christians as well as Muslims. Chinese Chistians have become quite good at hiding from the government. And there’s a 100 million of them.
The answer is 20% of the 1.6 billion are radical, the rest (including the ‘good’ office worker ‘living the American dream’) pay taxes at the mosque to support the “activities’ of the 20% practicing Islam as Mohammad intended. The 80% not only provide financial support, but also form a pool for the 20% to draw from for the practice of true Islam.
I’ll bet the Muslims in China don’t obey the one child policy. Islamis doctrine is toxic and moronic, but just as harmful is them trying to outbreed everyone else. Add in their immigration from the lousy Muslim world into non-Muslim nations. Which is part of Islamic doctrine, that emulates Muhammad’s flight (migration) from Mecca to Medina.
Well, think of all the re-education camps we have here in the US. Most of our schools are liberal madrasses and in large corporations if you don’t toe the PC line you’re sent to a forced re-education camp.
The only difference is that the Chinese may be doing the right form of re-eduction whereas we’re doing the opposite.
In the long run the Chinese may come up ahead.
China Is Treating Islam Like a Mental Illness
Some religions make more sense than others and in my humble opinion the religion in question is at the bottom of the totem pole. Another interesting fact is that any well founded religion can survive blasphemy, except (i)slam and this is the reason it will not be tolerated.
Or perhaps some DID say something, and were ignored because some in government wanted an excuse to invade Iraq.
