If you want to really understand why the Left, particularly the ‘tech industry’ guys, and government guys, are so damn Globalist, this quote is it (thanks for posting).
So look at it from a techie/government viewpoint. All you see at the ‘office’ at Google are Muslims with a very high level of education, who are generally good, maybe excellent workers, who have traditional families (i.e., one spouse and kids), and who seem to just want to live the American dream.
And so you project, and figure they (the 2 billion of them) must be the same, and you ‘compartmentalize’ those who fly airplanes into buildings and those who who strap bombs to themselves, and the Imams who call for the extermination of Western culture as just a few ‘outcasts’ - no better than our extremists (heck, we’re running a guy who recently said ‘monkey’...is that really any different than accidentally flying an airplane into a building? - we all have our extremists - if we stretch things enough).
So what really is the different? To me, it isn’t the fact that 20 people could plan something as complex and daring and suicidal as 9-11, it’s that they could get 20 people to do so, and then keep the plan silent - hundreds, probably thousands of people knew it was coming. I mean, you just don’t walk into a mosque and start asking people if they want to fly into buildings and kill themselves, expecting the typical response to be “Sure, print me a boarding pass, sounds like fun”...it took a lot of work to round up those nutcases (even from that bunch). Now think of your church, and see how far you get if you try to do the same recruiting...the FBI will be waiting for you before services end. That’s the difference.
Yeah. There was a report of a muslim New Jersey school kid who a few days before 9/11 looked out the window across the Hudson and told his teacher those two buildings would be gone soon. His brother said don’t pay any attention to him, he has a vivid imagination.
More damning, is when I personally tabulated the fatalities by country of origin and found only one national of a majority muslim country among the listed dead.
THEY KNEW.
School kids, hundreds of WTC employees, and only God knows how many thousand mosque attendees KNEW, and they said nothing.
The answer is 20% of the 1.6 billion are radical, the rest (including the ‘good’ office worker ‘living the American dream’) pay taxes at the mosque to support the “activities’ of the 20% practicing Islam as Mohammad intended. The 80% not only provide financial support, but also form a pool for the 20% to draw from for the practice of true Islam.
Well, I’m sure they didn’t start by asking who wants to be a martyr, they started by singling out devout extremists then went through a process of elimination for intelligence, ability to speak English, background checks on their families, and so on. They were probably kept in the dark about what their mission would be and who else would be on similar missions.
Trial and error through hundreds of years of doing this kind of thing has honed their ability to get better at it. They may be cavemen at heart and soul but they are conniving cavemen and brighter than I like to give them credit for. Then again when you live for a singular purpose; it’s much easier to get good at that one thing.
Islam is a cult; no question about it. The largest cult on the planet unfortunately. It can’t be taken lightly. These true believers are very dangerous. Anyone who has nothing to lose and is willing to die for what they believe in is very dangerous as I’m sure you know. No religion teaches their followers to kill or beat into submission those who will not follow their teachings. That right there separates them from a religion and makes them a cult.
The best thing the world could do is to collectively label Islam a cult and NOT a religion so it loses all religious protections which it should not have anyway. Then it can be dealt with like MS-13 or any other dangerous but large criminal group. China is doing it their way but it’s similar to what I suggested. Either way it will be largely eliminated. Once the Mosques are gone; the rest will fall into place until all that’s left are small cells because they won’t be able to congregate in large groups outside their Muslim-based countries. With some luck those with larceny in their hearts will self-deport to their home countries. Probably wishful thinking. The hard part is to get any government to label them as non-religious cults even though that’s what they are.
