Former Secretary of State John Kerry said in new comments that he regrets picking former Sen. John Edwards to be his running mate while a top the 2004 Democratic ticket.
Kerry told CBS News in an interview set for broadcast Sunday that Edwards ultimately "didn't measure up" to what he wanted in a running mate.
“If you measure the qualities that you are looking for when you choose a vice president,” Kerry said of Edwards, “it didn't measure up. It wasn't what we had hoped for.”

Maybe Kerry seeing the MSM heap praise upon praise on McCain decided to follow him by dissing his VP choice as well. If McCain has started a trend of losing campaigns doing so I can’t wait to see H dis Kaine Mitt dis Ryan etc. It wouldn’t surprise me to see W dis Cheney someday given how far his brand has fallen. W’s that is not Cheney.

Edwards promotes programs to eliminate poverty in the United States, including arguing in favor of creating one million housing vouchers over five years in order to place poor people in middle-class neighborhoods. Edwards has stated, "If we truly believe that we are all equal, then we should live together too."

Julian Castro, just like Martin O’Malley has been put forth to the public as the Next Generation of Democrat for at least the past 10 years. So far, Castro has failed to excite the base. Some folks just do not have natural charisma and must try to learn it. In O’Malley’s case, there simply was nothing to get excited , or even worried about.
