President Trump and the White Farmers of South Africa
American Thinker ^ | 08/30/2018 | By John Dietrich

President Trump has inspired the Deep State Media (DSM) to create another firestorm.  This time, his racism is supposedly being revealed because he asked his secretary of state to "closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large-scale killing of farmers."  The president apparently was moved to ask his secretary of state to study the issue as a result of a Fox News program that dealt with the subject.  State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert told reporters that secretary of state Mike Pompeo and Trump had discussed the issue and Pompeo would "take a look at it."  The president has not drawn any conclusions.  He has simply asked the State Department to study, or look into, the matter.  This has driven the Deep State into fits of rage.

I have asked Secretary of State @SecPompeo to closely study the South Africa land and farm seizures and expropriations and the large scale killing of farmers. “South African Government is now seizing land from white farmers.” @TuckerCarlson @FoxNews— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 23, 2018

The transition of South Africa into a larger disaster than Zimbabwe, based on land expropriations, was supposed to occur without media attention.  The beauty of the president's approach makes concealment impossible.  Apparently, this situation has been covered in the foreign press but not much here.  The Russian government has agreed to accept 15,000 South African farmers because it considered the land confiscation issue a "matter of life and death."  Australian immigration minister Peter Dutton caused a ruckus by saying Australia should give "special attention" to white South African farmers because they faced a "horrific" situation.  Members of the Deep State believe that it is unnecessary to study this situation.  It is being promoted by right-wing conspiracy nuts.

Any defense of SA whites by President Trump will be reported as a proof of white supremacist leanings.

Else where, Richard Jack Rail wrote....
________________

South Africa’s Congress passed an expropriation bill to take white-owned farmland and divvy it up among blacks. Donald Trump announced he’s keeping an eye on events there, which caused the S.A. government to stop the program, for the time being, at least.

Trump did everyone a favor, though not all appreciate it.

What’s going on (or not) is uncertain. People we would call liberals say expropriations aren’t happening or even in the offing. What some call right-wing extremists say killings to that end have been going on silently for some time.

Perhaps it’s a matter of perspective. If you’re killed on your remote farm, and nobody reports it, people are going to shrug off talk of such killings. But with the last 30 years of headlines and riots about racial injustice, some are slow to shrug it off. Zimbabwe’s right next door, after all. Examples of land expropriation in other countries abound; all were bloody undertakings that started small and unreported.

I don’t know how 72% of S.A.’s farmland came to be owned by whites, but it’s been that way for centuries. And I know that with those farms in their hands, South Africans eat, the economy functions, and they actually have lives.

By contrast, as when Zimbabwe expropriated its white farmers, the thugs who take over know nothing about farming. In short order, the country is starving, corruption dominates, murder stalks the streets, and the economy collapses.

Expropriation is never about justice and always about vengeance.

Actually, it’s about corruption disguised as vengeance passed off as social justice.

Probably everyone on Earth lives under or with some kind of unfairness or injustice. Revolution does not fix things. Modern revolution delivers widespread murder, theft on the grand scale, and corruption beyond belief. This has been so whether the revolution is religious, as in Iran, or communist, as pretty much everywhere else.

In any case, revolutionary change cannot be made precipitately if tranquility is to survive. Nor do you have to believe that it can happen for it to kill you.

The short term reduces to this: South Africans must decide if they want to be fed, tranquil, and racist or starving, chaotic, and not racist. For the longer term, they can work on the issue and eventually work something out.

The last thing anyone with a family and a life wants is revolution.

“Members of the Deep State believe that it is unnecessary to study this situation.”

The members of the deep state know fully well about the genocide and theft being promoted by the ANC and let me be more frank, they fully support it. What bothers them is it’s now being exposed.

As for a large portion of it, not all of the land, during the Apartheid Era, and previous to apartheid policies, the land was seized from non-white farmers and then distributed to white farmers.

You are absolutely clueless. It was scrub land desert before the white farmers showed up. The whites dug wells and put up windmills. They then started irrigating and planting. They made it farmland. It was desolate before they showed up. Here is an old farmhouse. This is what they started with.

The British like international corporations hope there will be a fair bidding against Chinese firms for the farms. Ha! Good luck fools. Anything for a buck and they think the Marxists will let them in

Due to their race, people have been removed from their land by both the NP and the ANC.

There was and is no justification for either action.

"As for a large portion of it, not all of the land, during the Apartheid Era, and previous to apartheid policies, the land was seized from non-white farmers and then distributed to white farmers."

That is a lie. There were hardly any ethnic Africans in South Africa before it was even a nation. White settlers created farms and later industry which brought immigrants from other parts of the continent for work. No farms were taken from blacks and given to whites.

This is why any “assault weapons” ban of any sort must be met with immediate violent opposition.

They know “exactly” what they are doing.

One of my best friend’s parents were missionaries in a French colony in West Africa. The people were allowed to vote to stay a colony or become independent. They voted for independence. Everything ground to a halt within a short time. Within a couple of years he said that there was not a drivable road anywhere outside of a city. The graders and tractors were just parked by the side of the road and vines and undergrowth completely covered them. And of course famine and violence followed. My friend’s family were forced to flee the country to save their own lives.

South Africa was the most prosperous area on the continent. It is quickly headed for disaster. It is largely the result of uncontrolled immigration. Even while they were being slammed by the rest of the world black people were pouring into the country, trying to escape violence, hoping to find work, or just trying to not starve in the countries that they came from. Less than 1/2 of 1% of blacks in South Africa have descendants who were indigenous to the area, while nearly all of the whites are descended from people who have lived in South Africa for hundreds of years.

Almost exactly true. There was a small population of nomads in the Cape. There was a decent (low 10s of thousands) population of Zulus in Natal. The rest of the country was extremely sparsely populated. The Bantu came down from the north because there was work on the farms, housing, education, and because it was a lot better life than them and their ancestors had had for tens of thousands of years.

You have a good imagination, but that is an absolute lie. There was basically no farming in South Africa before white people started moving into the area hundreds of years ago.

No need to go back hundreds of years.

Instead, one only needs to look at the Native Lands Act of 1913, and policies of the NP government after 1949.

TheSouth African government forced people off their land, both before the ANC regime came to power and while the NP was in power.

Partner, The current S.A. farmers are descendants of the Boer people who came to S.A. for religious persecution in the Netherlands, which was a wasteland.

The Boers farmed this land and made it prosperous land ever since they came from Europe and they fought the Zulus in S.A. and they beat the Zulus and gave the Zulus lands that are still independent from the current S.A. government.

The current S.A. leadership must have little ole black ball hearts smaller than the core of a golf ball, It is a crying shame that the current leadership in S.A. will turn the country into another Zimbabwe.

Partner, personally I feel President Trump has a great big heart that is bigger that his own body, since he is looking into this problem right now and seeing if he can help those farmers in S.A. asap if the situation gets worse.

I belive I specified “during the Apartheid Era.”

By the introduction of Apartheid, South Africa had long been a nation.
