Boston Red Sox star J.D. Martinez stood by his controversial Instagram post showing Adolf Hitler, saying Tuesday he was defending the Second Amendment.
Martinez, a perennial American League MVP candidate, posted the photo in 2013. The picture featured Hitler along with the quote, To conquer a nation, first disarm its (sic) citizens. Martinez captioned the post, This is why I always stay strapped! #thetruth He was 25 at the time.

From the quote he posted - I would say yes.
This is a story about absolutely nothing!
Leftards just fomenting false rage.

Why don’t we get a story like this out of Fox every time some Leftwing lunatic shows a picture of Trump as Hitler or Bush as Hitler?
This is what happens when you have milk toast presidents who never fight back. This is what happens when you have a party that allows the other party to lead the national agenda. This is what happens when you hear the other side popping off in unison all the time, and you seldom hear your own people and they can’t even get on the same page for two minutes. This is what happens when you surrender your learning institutions from K-University level to the Leftists. This is what happens when you MSM voluntarily goes ALL/IN to become worse than Pravda ever was.
Essentially, who was pushing back against the Left other than Rush Limbaugh, Dennis Prager, very few others, and those of us on this forum? Even Rush was a bit squishy on some policy.
Before Trump, we had eight years of the Clinton Crime Syndicate, eight years of the marble mouth mute, and eight years of the Obama Terrorist Network.
That’s how a nation goes South in a hurry.
Hey doufus, hirer hitler was anti-2nd Amendment. The nazis confiscated all arms owned by the population.
It would be joke if he wasn't MVP. He's still got a legitimate shot at winner the triple crown.
Good going, JD. Now hit them with this:
Just how long would this country have had slavery if all the slaves had been armed???
Well, it is Massachusetts. Liberals are very weird here especially on the subject of guns. Then they get rabid. Especially inside Rt. 128.
Like PDT has supposedly either said or implied and if he did neither, he SHOULD..
They call me Hitler & Stalin THEN want me to take their guns away????
Uh oh, Hogg boy will be very upset. Martinez is in trouble now.
Nothing controversial about that at all. It’s truth.
But leftards are gonna be leftarded.
Knowing Boston as well as I do I can guarantee that if he doesn’t issue an abject apology quickly he’ll be gone...gone...gone!
“Especially inside Rt. 128.”
Heck, outside of 128 they’re freaking nuts too.
Progressives attacking another American institution. They will never stop. Families, fathers, religion, Christmas, Easter, football, if it is a tradition, it has to be ended. All American traditions are inherently bad.
I’ll always remember a couple of years ago when he played for the Tigers and came to bat for the first time after being on the disabled list. He hit a HR off of Chris Sale on the first pitch. That was electric.
How do you destroy free speech in a country where it is constitutionally protected?
the left knows—bully and smear anyone who dares to dissent
and politicize everything (even sports)
Ahead in BA and RBI. One behind in HRs
Another headline that someone doesn’t adhere to groupthink requirements.
I'm a good piece outside of 128 and take exception to that. Nuts? Possibly. But Liberal? Not so much.
The further West you go the easier it is to find Constitutionally minded, pleasant, flag waving gun owners. Our police chief wants people to get their CC permits. We're not a 'shall issue' town. We're a 'Hell yeah issue' town.
My town is quite Conservative and Liberal whack-a-doodles aren't given much latitude. Lots of towns like that here.
Seriously.
