Interesting MSNBC Segment on McCains anger management problem - he was know for this even at the Academy.
Keep this in mind on his criticism of Trump ...

He was a spoilt brat in grown-up clothing and I don’t think it ever even dawned on him that the spite he showed to those he disagreed with was unmanly.
In an earlier post it was said anger killed him
“In an earlier post it was said anger killed him.”
Along with a healthy dose of extreme jealousy.
Also look up his marriage to his first life Carol and how he treated her after her car accident. He was “dating” Cindy long before he divorced his first wife. In other words he was cheating and did not help his first wife when she was in need during her recovery the serious car accident.
or possibly contributed to it.
I seem to remember reading an article a few years ago about House and Senate members and their perceptions among Congressional staffers. McCain was rated one of the worst members of Congress to work for. LOL.
Watch the way he treated the families of the POW/MIA in Vietnam.
All the dirt that the media couldn’t wait to report on in 2008 about McCain’s well-known temper, his questionable version of his military history, his abandonment of his first wife for a young, rich beer heiress, the Keating 5 scandal, etc...have all suddenly been swept under the rug.
All he had to do was bad mouth their public enemy No 1, Donald Trump, and suddenly he has become a war hero (and this from people who loathe ALL things military!), a “statesman”, a great leader who stood on principle over politics...yadda, yadda, yadda!
Can’t wait for all of the ceremonies and memorials to be over so John S McCain III can finally fade into obscurity!
The slime bucket is dead. Let the dead fade away; especially this one. Aye yi yi!
McCain made a joke at a 1998 Republican Senate fundraiser. “Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?” he asked. “Because her father is Janet Reno.”
Instead of trying to accomplish something - anything - McCain wasted most of his political life forever trying to be the “The Maverick”.
He lived to be the burr under the saddle of humanity.
McCain lost track of who he really was, or should be, and confused himself with the man portrayed in press releases.
He gloried in being described as a fighter and ended up being no different that a bad drunk or a muslim terrorist.
The fight itself becomes the end - not the means to an end.
When there are no enemies to fight with they will fight with their friends or innocent bystanders.
The last private conversation I had with the Senator was about Kelli Ward (This was during the 2016 primary). I can’t repeat on this forum the words he said and the threats he made. I was rattled, and I don’t rattle easily. He had a terrible temper and was very crude. That’s why when he made a point to say he was “appalled” at the Access Hollywood tape, anyone who knew him personally laughed their butts off.
Absolutely!
Let's put this box of bad memories way back in the attic when this week is over.
The ironic thing was, he was no maverick.
He was simply an angry Leftist. There was nothing against the grain with him. He fit right in being friends with Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, George Soros, and Hillary Clinton.
He fit right in defending Barack Obama and assuring the nation they nothing to fear from him.
He liked to both claim he was a maverick and deny he was a maverick, whichever suited him at the time.
He was a shallow little man who seldom understood U. S. policy. His grasp of foreign affairs came in somewhere between Jimmy Cater and Pee Wee Herman. His advocacy of attacking Russia in Syria, was downright dangerous.
Even after death, the best that can be said of the man, is that he is still stinking up the place, guaranteed to be his only legacy in perpetuity.
Yeah I remember that. That is something that might find itself on a chatboard post but is a bit rough and tacky to be uttered by a Senator in public. And yet this guy was quite sensitive and petty when any criticism came his way.
fade into obscurity!
I still get choked up, I can picture them now, Reagan’s boots backwards in the sturrips on the empty horse.
Let that image make you forget the traitors.
Freegards
The man was always angry and petulant. He sometimes was on point but overall he was a real pr*ck. His actions concerning Syria, Libya, and Ukraine were war crimes as was his being an accessory to Clinton’s coup. I think he was always dirty and compromised like most in Swamp DC.
interesting video until maddow came on.
had to shut it off.
i’m eating dinner...
