I can’t help but think that some background information has been omitted from the story.

I bet the chickens stopped laying and cows stopped giving milk too.

Hey...I have a great idea-—let’s import MORE of these illiterate ignorant brain dead Mexicans into our country, to then permanently affix themselves to the welfare teat funded by US.

Whoever HEARD of such a thing as a Hail Cannon? LOL! Very commonly used in cherry orchards where I live. The blast from the cannon breaks up the hail before it ruins the cherries.

Well two things are certain here. Trying as head as they could, chickens just couldn’t muster a drop of milk, and the only cow to find an egg under her when she got up, fainted.

I had to find out what the heck the title meant. Wouldn’t lightning do the same thing?
...
The cannons shoot sonic waves into the clouds, essentially creating sonic booms as storms approach.
The thought, which has never been scientifically proven to work, is that these sonic waves break up the hail being created in the upper atmosphere before these ice balls of destruction can reign down on the new Jettas, Beettles, Tiguans and Golfs produced at the Puebla, Mexico production facility.

There’s a lot of confirmation bias on behalf of the farmers in that article.

I’m 8.25 hours into my daily 10 hour shift, and brain and eyes are misbehaving.
I first read that title as “BTW Hall cannons...” and was expecting another slam-vets-and-Americanism” article...
