Sen. John McCain, in a final message to the United States written before his death, said the country will emerge from its current political environment "stronger than before."
"Do not despair of our present difficulties. We believe always in the promise and greatness of America," the Republican senator and former GOP presidential nominee wrote in a letter read by advisor Rick Davis on Monday.
McCain, a longtime lawmaker from Arizona, died Saturday at age 81 after a struggle with brain cancer.

Satan is glad to have him.
I would have been happier if he lived to 95 or 100, but had left the Senate a couple or three terms ago and took up gardening or bridge. But that was not the path he took.
This is BS. If he really died of a gioblastoma I doubt very seriously that he has been communicating about anything, with anyone, for weeks.
How many more Juan recordings will we have to suffer before our many various pages are free from him ?
Couldn’t find my whoreallygivesa$hit button to punch.
“will emerge from its current political environment “stronger than before.”
I agree ...no thanks to Mc and his buddy B.O. or Hillzebub.
What “present difficulties” was he talking about? All I see is a America that is being made great again. LOL.
Since McCain loved Teddy Kennedy so much, hopefully they are both enjoying a hot sauna with the horned guy
If he can scribe such messages while on life support, who can deny that he won’t release more from beyond the grave?
I’m sorry, but I’m not going to speak ill of this man.
While I did not agree with all of his positions, John McCain was a skilled Naval Aviator who flew more than 22 combat missions deep into enemy territory during the Vietnam War; territory that was some of the most heavily guarded in the theater.
He was shot down, tortured, bayoneted and repeatedly left in solitary confinement. He allowed others to return home before himself.
The man deserves respect. We look petulant, petty and ill informed by making crass remarks about the man’s death.
Well he may have written it weeks ago ... to be released upon his death.
We will emerge stronger partly because he is gone.
It's already stronger than it was before, and may you rot in hell, you traitorous bastard.
This. For sure.
John McCain lived off his Hero card. I think most of us are okay calling him a hero for what he endured as a POW. It’s what he did as a senator that hurt America. I’m glad he’s no longer a senator.
Hasta la vista, pendejo!
I thought he meant the rioters, the corrupt FBI leadership and the fake journalist,no?
“John McCain, in final message before death, says ‘do not despair of our present difficulties’”
The biggest one resolved itself, it seems, Juan. Thanks!
