PRAYERS FOR ISRAEL
Maschil of David, when he was in the cave; a Prayer.
With my voice I cry unto HaShem; with my voice I make supplication unto HaShem. I pour out my complaint before Him, I declare before Him my trouble; When my spirit fainteth within me--Thou knowest my path--in the way wherein I walk have they hidden a snare for me.
Look on my right hand, and see, for there is no man that knoweth me; I have no way to flee; no man careth for my soul.
I have cried unto Thee, O HaShem; I have said: 'Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.'
Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors; for they are too strong for me.
Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks unto Thy name; the righteous shall crown themselves because of me; for Thou wilt deal bountifully with me.

Tired to the bone is a good description. LOL! But it was a fun day and well worth being tired. Yes, still working on some uniforms on mannequins and will be glad to get those out of the way. Maybe next weekend. *fingers crossed for luck*
We’ve had a decent break from heat the past three days but the temp AND humidity jumped up this afternoon. Gonna be hot and muggy the next week at least. *sigh*
Hope you get rain tonight. You said you were caught up now but it would be nice to get ahead in case there’s another dry spell. Every little bit helps.

Ohhhhh....that’s beautiful! I was thinking that in WWII, the nurses wore a uniform very similar to the ones that the men wore. Same Khaki, etc. I don’t know for sure, though.

It may well be since they put her next to another WWI uniform. All I was pretty sure of was it wasn’t newer than WWII.
There’s so much to learn with all the items already in the museum and what hasn’t been unpacked yet. I’m tryin’! LOL

Like I just told my, I’m still learning or trying to. When it’s busy, I don’t always get to ask about them. I just clean one and go on to the next.
My said it’s probably WWI and since it next to another WWI uniform now, it probably is.
It’s in fabulous shape for it’s age either way.
And I want that cape! LOL

I hear ya! I’d LOVE to have that cape. Come to think of it, I’ve watched movies from WWI and I remember them wearing those capes and I coveted them then, too. LOL!

Here are some of the Patriot Guard when they first arrived. They're in town for a convention or something and are in from all around the southeast. They'd called last month to arrange a tour.
And in the back room, that I call the "Oh my room". Several people have walked through the door into that room and I've heard them say, "Oh my!" and I gave it the nickname. Now some of the guys call it that too. LOL!
They all seemed to enjoy it and we certainly enjoyed having them stop in to visit. We admire what they've done and still do.

Same here! LOL! Seeing them in the movies is one thing. Having your hands on one makes them even more desirable! VERY nice and that one is in excellent condition. Someone took very good care of the whole thing and it must not have been at Tupelo very long.

I’m totally surprised that is doesn’t have moth holes in it! I wonder if it can be treated to ensure that it doesn’t get them now that it’s out in the open. That would be a shame if it did.
