Democrats voted Saturday to drastically scale back the controversial superdelegate system that gives elected officials and party insiders an outsize say in the partys presidential nominating process, delivering a significant victory for Bernie Sanders and his supporters ahead of 2020.

They still booed God.
This should allow the DNC to move event further to the left.
In the list of the best possible candidates the dims could pick, bernie has GOT to top the list.
After that fauxahontis.
Either guarantees a 2020 landlslide fpr President Trump.
KAGA!!
Isnt this undoing changes made 40 years ago to prevent another McGovern from being nominated?
KAGA? /unfamiliar with that acronym
>>This should allow the DNC to move event further to the left.<<
Which was the intended outcome.
Many in the dnc leadership honestly believe America has gone to the left with them. They confuse volume with depth.
They believe that an amp that will go to “11” is louder than one that will go to “10.”
Yes. But Dems apparently ignore history just as they ignore other aspects of reality.
Keep America Great Again!
OK — I think it is just KAG! LOL
Hard to say whether it will make them more or less competitive. It paves the way for a far-left candidate to get the nomination, but that’s also where all of their energy is.
This tells me the insane left faction is edging out the Hillary faction. Which should mean the party is on an even faster course toward self-destruction.
That would effectively end any chance Hillary might think she would have in 2020. Some big donors have been signaling to her since election night that that (2016) was her final chance.
HRC = (your choice of) sourdough, wheat, pumpernickel, or rye.
This should allow the DNC to move even further to the left.

Correct. That will be the likely effect. And it may alienate the few Dems who are not sympathic with the radical leftist elements taking over control of their party.
Power to the People
Don’t worry superdelegates, they party will change that back in time for the 2020 elections.
They won’t need any super-delegates until the next time they decide to rig the nomination of their presidential candidate.
Having State officials vote for a State position is not a bad thing... but the Presidency is not a State office, it is a Federal position... it is, in fact, 1/3 of the Government, the entire Executive Branch.
Give them some credit. They’re setting up a nomination process that will let Democrat voters do in the future what Republican voters did in 2016: nominate a presidential candidate who isn’t a paid stooge of Wall Street and foreign governments.
