The WaPo published an article that was supposed to praise the so-called "transgendered" but instead is a textbook example of mental illness.
Starting at age 11, [she] prayed for breast cancer. So distressing were the markers of [her] femininity that Kris Irvin who identifies as a man and uses the pronouns they, them and their would have welcomed abnormal cell growth in [her] "crappy and dysfunctional body."
"Kris" was so mentally ill that she wanted to have cancer. Kris is so mentally ill that she refers to herself as "them." That used to be called schizophrenia; now it's called "trailblazing candidate for governor of Vermont." Kris thinks a healthy woman's body is "dysfunctional." This first paragraph screams of mental illness. At the Washington Post, the inmates run the asylum.
Irvin knew of no other remedy for the physical and emotional agony that seemed to intertwine in [her] breasts, as [she] knew of no word to describe what [she was] experiencing.
As the original reads, "[i]n their breasts"? It sounds like the diary of a crazy woman.

Who doesn't think that, besides Mrs. Don-o and me?
LOL! Great comment.
It puts the lotion on,,,
Confusing?
Where’s my NVG?
Like anorexia. A few cases got publicity, and then suddenly it was everywhere all through the 80s and 90s. Now it seems to have faded away, replaced by the new "it" problem.
The demonrats think this is perfectly normal and acceptable behavior...
He was talking about some column in the Huffington Puffington Post about the difficulty in menstruating when you're not a woman. Huh?
The author was another one of those "its" or "thems" in the confused world of genders weirdos. She was, "I identify as a ___________" types.
She identified herself as a non-binary trans-menstruator.
Rush went on and on, trying to unscramble who this person or "it" really was.
I stop listening to the conversation when I had to get out of the car, so I don't know if he ever figured it out. But I was laughing my ass off at how incredibly off the planet some of these "things" are.
"It" was whining about menstruating during "it's" period and not having any containers in the men's rooms to dispose of used sanitary napkins or tampons. WTF?!
The injustice of it all.
Hollywood and the internet, and a populace so afraid of PC that they are frozen in their moral tracks
“As if being married to a transgender “woman” wasn’t trauma enough!”
0bama seems to enjoy it.
True story, shaving your piles is just like menstruating!
Why can’t they just agree on it? then it would make sense to a lot of people.
You're a sick dog.
:-)
These people are very sad, mentally ill, self-destructive individuals. I feel sorry for them. But now the left wants us to celebrate them and play along with their illness, and anyone who won’t play the sick game is called a bigot.
I don’t think that comment was from JayGalt, personally. He (I assume) was giving a sample of comments at the source site.
Still, it’s nice someone decided not to be a Democrat because it’s the party of barking moonbats.
If a man thought that a healthy woman's’ body was “dysfunctional”, he would rightfully be considered a psycho.
At least some of the young girls I met while living at an orphanage were really weird. Didn't like their bodies, hated their periods, blamed themselves for everything.
I suspect that everyone of them was molested.
I suspect that “Kris” has problems that she has never reported.
I agree.
I dealt with one young lady a few years back and she was constantly dieting - while being a size 2.
She constantly stressed over becoming fat when she was far from it.
So yes, it's still there, just not getting the media hype, but foisted via social media and print media that it's attainable - or it'll kill you.
That seems a disturbing, but plausible, explanation for “Kris’s” gender chaos.
I’m sure it’s still there, but when it’s not getting the hype, I think fewer young people fall victim to it.
