Jonathan Scruggs from Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) joins the show. Jonathan and the ADF defended Jack Phillips, the Christian baker involved in the recent Supreme Court case. Although Jack won this year's decision, he is back in front of the Colorado Civil Rights Commission for refusing to bake a cake for Satan's birthday.

We have a litigious society in general.
And now the problem of lawfare is really increasing.

I’d like to see Loser Pays.
Heck, I’d like to see Loser Pays 10x the court costs.

What are these homofascist civil rights commisions? We already have civil courts for citizens to take a case to if thry feel wronged. No more taxdollars for witchhunts.

Wasn’t biased officials in the first case that caused CO to lose the decision at the SC?

Maybe I don’t have the stomach for litigation and tangling with the criminal justice system or the courts or any of that crap... If it were me, by now I would have opened up Bakery and just sold bread. Does that make me a chicken... or does that just make me wizened?

Does anybody mess with butchers like this?

Someone should suggest to Jack that he provide an online presence and make Eagle Freedom cakes that we could buy.

You know, help him out a little.

The left doesn’t like losing. And with Kennedy gone, they’ll be losing in the courts a lot more.

They’ve already started moving to baser tactics, thus exposing their radicalism to the people.

Stopped by to see Jack and buy some baked goods for a GOP picnic today.

He's in good spirits and hopeful the earlier Supreme Court ruling will prevail against the current charges.

Alliance Defending Freedom can use our help in continuing to assist Jack as he battles on the front lines of defending our Religious Liberties.

The dude just needs to call his shop a Christian bakery. Put that in the shop’s name and advertising.

Problem solved.

Yes, the SC dodged the issue making it about religious targeting. What would really be big is doing away with the abuse of the concept of public accommodation which this stunt ironically proves is the real problem. If I had to hazard a guess I’d say the cakeshop will still have the upper hand, at least if the courts do their job properly since even a cursory investigation will probably show whoever ordered the cakes are probably not sincerely following a religion in the orthodox sense and thus not under a protected class. Most ‘media’ Satanists usually take great pains to tell everybody that they’re actually atheist libtards playing dress up than an actual religious cult and the organization in question here probably falls in this category so they don’t really have a leg to stand on. Still we should really continue to work on reforming the concept of public accommodation at a basic level so this sort of thing doesn’t get dragged out in the first place.

If all Americans had that attitude we would still have English royalty on our coins don’t you think?

It's not the "criminal justice system" you'd be tangling with. It's the criminals running the justice system.

Ya gotta know who the enemy IS!

I’d go for that. He could sell cupcakes for $10 and raise some serious cash. Perhaps this will be the case that dispenses with the idea of “discrimination” being a crime.

If the courts continue to allow themselves to be used to politically terroize citizens opinions, the courts will lose their authority.

Dealing with perverts and Satanists is a whole other ballgame, especially when the lower courts are on their side, and especially when the lower courts do not follow Supreme Court decisions on such litigation.

No, I think I would have been a butcher. Nobody messes with people who cut meat with sharp knives.

Generally bullies, pervs, and the occult go after the weaklings and the young. If it wasn’t for GoFundMe this poor Baker would have been broken by now. I thank God that he had Financial backing because the whole concept of picking on him was to break him financially. And it still looks like that is what is being attempted despite what the Supreme Court has ruled. There has to be some kind of legal intervention here from the federal level. or there’s a whole other way of dealing with this, and it was the way of the founding fathers... Through Revolution. I’m not advocating Revolution, we already had one. So I ask, where is the Federal Government and the Department of Justice?

why not just send him money if you want to? gifts up to certain amounts are tax deductible. why does the guy have to bake you something for your support?

Also as another poster noted alliance defense fund, if they are the ones footing the bill for legal expenses could use support also.
