Wow. Oregon Gov Brown claims lying in political ads is illegal. If this were true, there would be much less political advertising, and most campaign staff would be in jail.
Thanks mandaladon.
Until the 2000 election, “reds” always referred to the left wing. They didn’t like it, so in a coordinated move the lamestream media decided to all switch at once and refer to Republicans as red and democrats as blue.
A superior method for insuring sufficient fraud.
We call it voter fraud by mail.
She has a husband. Proclaiming her supposed acey duey status to the world is a sad, Hollywood starlet style cry for attention.
I’m comfortable with the vote by mail system. It actually seems better to me.
1) since the vast majority of ballots are returned by mail, it’s much harder to engineer the “discovery” of boxes of uncounted ballots.
2) We elected a republican to Sec. of State and Dennis Richardson spent some time cleaning up the voter rolls.
3) Oregon has required proof of citizenship or legal status to be here since 2008 to obtain a driver’s license, which has pretty much ended motor voter fraud. Legal immigrants can still “accidently” register to vote when they get a driver’s license but that’s a much smaller slice and they have a motivation to not vote illegally since that could blow their path to citizenship.
4) All those ballots are paper and could be counted by hand if the scantrons become suspect and are available for inspection and recounts.
Good news, hopefully it will produce and accurate count of only legal proper votes.
