The existence of the conspiracy is a given, despite a total lack of evidence. The only question is whether Cohen was involved in it.

No kidding. The President pulled him into the Oval Office and asked to see his passport. If I recall correctly Cohen was in CA attending his son's graduation at the time he was alleged to have been in Prague. We've known this for ages.
Lanny’s sole goal is to drive DJT from office and Cohen seems to be along for the ride.Whatever he says today is subject to a “that statement is no longer operative” tomorrow.

That would explain why niether Trump (or his AG) have ever lifted a pinky finger to end the Mueller investigation. It may be that the deep state planted a trail of breadcrumbs for useful idiot Mueller to follow, but left him out of the loop to make the frame up more convincing.
Then Trump drops a few breadcrumbs to get Mueller’s dogs on the real scent - which leads back to the real Spygate criminals. Mueller has no idea both sides are using him.
Lanny Davis is trying to wave Mueller off - this could get very entertaining.
IMO after yesterday he cannot fire mueller. Too many Republicans now against. Don’t give me a logical explanation. Logic has nothing to do with it

The larger question is why they are using him to suddenly discredit the document they once trumpeted.
What you said and all the other corruption and this woman, and her people are walking free, whilst others in the DOJ who helped her are still there letting her be free
When has Trump ever shown the slightest interest in firing Mueller?
Nothing has changed from yesterday’s nothingburger.
Trump will never fire Mueller, nor will he make any changes at the DOJ in an attempt to end the witch hunt. The witch hunt is not hurting the President at all.
In fact, being a POTUS who ran on anti-corruption - draining the swamp - it is in Trump’s best interest to be the subject of constant intense scrutiny - and still gone up squeaky clean.
He knows better than anyone that he did not collude with the Russians - there is nothing for Mueller to find. But being investigated so thoroughly tells the American people that he is corruption free.
Just as non-corrupt corporations welcome and cooperate a public audit and proudly publish the certified results, Trump is perfectly fine with this investigation.
Sure, Mueller is no friend, but that makes the clean results all the more vindicating.
Sure there is some collateral damage if lower level campaign associates get put through the wringer due to their association with the campaign, but hopefully they’ll be pardoned.
I just don’t see what the worry is. Trump sure doesn’t seem worried.
Maybe Trump gave him a bag of cash and set him up as his inside man, undermining the wispy thin legs of Mueller's case.
I know it's not true, but if this were a fictional story, it'd be a fun twist. Johnathan Price could play him in the movie.

this is not alogical situation it is political and emotional. Fewer republicans will support his removal of mueller and sessions now. Mueller will continue his witch hunt. Trump is in a far weaker position today than Monday.
The country is worse off. No canton, lynch, obama, prosecutions. Nothing will be done because not looks like retaliation the more his associates fall.
Trump assures mueller regularly. Don’t know if that is “interest” to you. Mueller should have been removed at appointment or when he fills this staff positions.
