Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a former Fox News military analyst who left after accusing the network of "assaulting our constitutional order and the rule of law" in collaboration with President Trump, talks to CNN's Brian Stelter about his views on President Trump's impact on the country.
"What is the most dreadful part about it, for you?" Stelter asked.
"The most dreadful part is that we have a president who does not respect our system of government," Peters said. He continued to say his former employee FOX News were "prostitutes," "amoral," and "opportunistic... People that only listen to Fox have an utterly skewed view of reality."
PETERS: The people supporting Trump are radicals, these couch-potato anarchists. They’re people that don’t have a program to make America great again. And by the way, America’s great right now. Rather, they’re destructive. They want to tear things down. They want vengeance. And Trump is brilliant at that. He’s done what autocrats and charlatans and false messiahs throughout history have done. He’s told his core supporters, “You are not to blame. You are not to blame for the mistakes you’ve made. You are not to blame for your failures. It’s them. It’s minorities; it’s immigrants; it’s fake news.”

A mindless rant from a warmongering neocon who by the way still goes by his military title.
Peters is acting like a vindictive loser. He saw President Trump choose a stellar military man like Gen. Mattis to help him lead the nation, and he was eaten up with jealousy. Now he’s relegated to going on CNN, the bottom of the ratings barrel, for attention.
Lt. Colonel is not too high on the food chain. In a war he’d have as much say as a private. You don’t get anywhere in the military without following orders and keeping your mouth shut. Must be an angry man-not too manly.
When we “form our battalions” as the ‘La Marseillaise’ refers to it, can I be a warrant officer in G-2? I’m just asking you future officers of the militia. I’m no good as a regular foot soldier anymore with just one leg, but I remember enough from the old days to do intelligence. What color uniforms do you think we’ll have this time?

One more example of what Pres. Trump needs to push: “They hate me, and they hate each of you who voted for me, and they are bent on revenge against all of us”.

Again, these doorknobs don’t tell us. Trump hasn’t done a single unconstitutional thing since assuming the office. If I’m wrong, I’d like a contrary example.

There’s usually a reason you only make O-5. I’m not saying that to denigrate anyone, and I sure as hell never made it that high, but most hard-chargers get to flag rank. My brother-in-law made O-6 out of a Midwestern ROTC. I consider that a feat without a mentor. He works for a defense contractor and is happier than a clam.
