Lt. Colonel is not too high on the food chain. In a war he’d have as much say as a private. You don’t get anywhere in the military without following orders and keeping your mouth shut. Must be an angry man-not too manly.

Must be an angry man-not too manly. .......................... I have always considered the LTC rank to be the most dangerous.(Politically) Note how many seized power in other nations. They go from LTC to El Supremo. I was a non political LTC assigned to a couple of Generals who had no political ambitions. When I made Col. my General may have, but I left before I could find out. Peters was a “Hey look at me” LTC who craved the spot light.
