The undocumented immigrant who allegedly killed college student Mollie Tibbetts had worked for years at a farm owned by a prominent Iowa Republican family, a report said Tuesday night.
Cristhian Rivera — the 24-year-old man who is suspected of murdering Tibbetts while she was out jogging — was an “employee in good standing” at Yarrabee Farms, which is owned by the family of former Iowa official Craig Lang, according to the Des Moines Register.

“This individual has worked at our farms for four years, was vetted through the government’s E-Verify system, and was an employee in good standing,” the statement read.

You shouldn’t talk about yourself like that. I know you have no first hand experience in this matter so I think it would be best if you just quietly moved away and let the experienced adults talk. You don’t need to be ashamed of being ignorant. As you grow older you will have life experiences that you can use to your advantage. Until that happens you should just sit back quietly and learn from people who have been there and done that.

He checked with E-Verify ... if there’s a problem here it’s with that system, ot the farmer Lang who did appropriate checks and was misled by the government.
The article is wrong. The farm did not use E-Verify. They used the Social Security Administration's number verification service. Apparently, he had a false ID, and the name and SSN he gave matched.
