Candace Owens and veteran Republican strategist Ed Rollins discuss conservative claims of social media censorship and the 2018 midterms on Sunday Morning Futures with host Maria Bartiromo.
"There's no blue wave out there," Rollins predicted. "The Senate, which we had big opportunities, have not turned out to be quite so. There's probably five to eight Senate seats on both sides that are in play. I think we will hold the Senate, and I think we will hold the House. Margins may be smaller in the House, but it's certainly going to hold it."
Rollins said no president has dominated the media, cable news, and social media like President Trump. He said media companies see his influence as a "threat."
"No president, no candidate has ever dominated the media, both the cable news, the social media, what have you," Rollins said Sunday morning. "He understands it well. His people understand it well. And I think to a certain extent, they see it as a threat."

I know to be skeptical of polls, but one heartening poll is that only 18% of Americans see ANTIFA favorably. They seem to be reacting against the extremism out there. I have to believe that at least a slight majority of voters are appalled at the murders committed by illegals. The GOP would be wise to get on board with the POTUS on sealing the borders.
They were also trying to get her to change parties...so no.
Not really. I don’t know anyone who seriously thought she’d change parties. But if you wanna think Heitkamp is a “conservative” have at it. I think probably fieldmarshaldj can come up with some voting stats that would convince you otherwise.
Or not.
Ed Rollins...doesnt inspire confidence. Anyway, come November, VOTE! Its the only poll that counts.
Heitkamp was never going to change parties, she IS the ND Democrat Party. If she had accepted a potential offer for a Cabinet seat, which she and anyone else with a brain knew was an attempt to replace her with a Republican, she would’ve become the most unpopular Democrat within the party in the nation. She wasn’t going to do it.
As for her voting record, it’s about in line with other Democrats. She scored a 15% Conservative rating from the ACU (American Conservative Union) in 2016. In 2017, she earned a goose egg, a 0%. 100% leftist. Her lifetime rating is 89% leftist. The likelihood that she would switch parties based on that record is about the same of you giving birth to an anvil in the next 60 seconds.
they are a dominant and ruthless culture, it will not end well if they are left unchecked. If they get their way the USA will go the way of South Africa
The democrats rolled over due to complacency brought on by fake poll numbers and skewed statistics. The right cannot fall into the same trap. For a Republican to lull the voters with pronouncements of Red wave dominance is bordering on national suicide!
Get up, get out, and go vote. It is imperative. No excuses.
Lol...just as long as you rid yourself of the silly notion that Heitkamp is a "nevertrump", we're good.
Now do Joe Mancin...
The WV Democrat Party has been in a state of collapse over the last several cycles. Although Manchin is their last remaining officeholder at the federal level, he’s not as wedded to them as one might think - at least on rhetoric.
He’s “judged” as one of the most “conservative” Democrats in the Senate, though that title is dubious, since there aren’t any “Conservative Democrats” left in the Senate. The last one was Zell Miller. Manchin is well to the left of the late Miller.
The ACU grades him as having a lifetime Conservative rating of 25% (which still places him in the most left-wing quadrant). He scored just outside that in 2016 with a 27%, but fell to an 8% in 2017 (and that terrible number still made him the most “conservative” member of the Senate Democrats, showing how ultraleft the party has become).
Some FReepers, not quite aware of his actual voting record, tend to think of him as voting right more than half the time, which isn’t remotely so. WV Democrats think he is too right-wing, which is a joke. I view him more like Joe Lieberman, who claimed to be “moderate”, but other than for maybe one issue (Israel), he was on the ultraleft and usually scored a perfect 100% leftist rating from the ACU. There’s a notorious photo from two events around here taken around the same time showing Manchin supporting both the pro-life cause and Planned Barrenhood, showing an astonishing amount of shamelessness on his part.
Given his erratic behavior since Trump’s ascension, I got the distinct impression he either didn’t care about running again or didn’t care if he lost. He might’ve tried to switch parties last year, but he knows there’s no way he could win a primary as a Republican with his record. I think he may lose this year against the Attorney General of WV, Morrisey, and he should, though has incredibly managed to remain competitive despite polls showing more than half the likely voters wanting him replaced.
If he is reelected, depending upon the margin in the Senate, if Republicans increase their presence as expected, Manchin might very well switch to the GOP after the election (since he wouldn’t have to face the voters again until 2024); or he might continue to be the erratic Democrat he is now, or he might discard trying to play nice with Trump and use the next term being a moonbat. Only Joe Manchin knows which course he intends to take.
I think Loserman fooled a lot of FReepers into thinking he was a centrist RAT because he would always hem and haw and put on this "gosh, gee whiz, I dunno if that's a good idea, I don't like this new Democrat bill..." dog and pony show.
Of course, when it came time to actually VOTE on marxist legislation, he would ALWAYS side with his fellow RATs, even AFTER they kicked him out of the party and he became an "Independent" Democrat.
Well hell....I like Kid Rock!! hehe

Most likely the idiot didn't bother to look at what was on the signs. This seems to be a thing. Or else he was so technologically illiterate that he though no one would notice.
As for surprise party switches, we always have Nighthorse Campbell to look back at.
Latest polls
Only a two point race in WI! I’ve heard criticism of the “RINO” charge against Vukmir
Another poll in PA contradicting the one showing a close race. Maris, (notably D biased) showing Casey up 15
Quinnipiac, Melendez +6
That Lieberman was/is a “moderate” is and always has been a load of bullsh*t.
He’s a rat through and through.
Actions are all that matters, and he voted with the Traitor Party 100% lockstep.
He’s a POS like the rest of them.
I'm guessing the latter. Didn't Harry Reid insist he was "personally" pro-life (and have his allies in the media portray him as such, some "devout Mormon" who is "morally opposed" to abortion) while voting 100% with Planned Parenthood? And Bob Casey Jr. tried that and fooled a bunch of people because he dad was genuinely pro-life?
I imagine Manchin tries to pull the same routine, and tries to get money and votes from both pro-life and pro-abortion groups. He pretty much did the same during his first Senate campaign, running as the NRA's BFF, then promptly sponsoring some gun-grabbing bill and touting his "courage" for standing up for "reasonable" gun control.
Manchin probably adjusts his "principles" to whatever audience is in the room at the time... he talks out of his ass giving some speech to the West Virginia Christian Coalition talking about how "I've always been pro-mom and pro-baby, I am a proud pro-life Democrat who believes the taking of an unborn baby's life is a sin", then he promptly drives 2 miles down to the West Virginia chapter of NOW and starts yapping about how "the Republicans are trying to appoint radical right-wing judges that will overturn Roe v. Wade...we need to re-elect Democrats like myself in red states who can tell President Trump NO to extremist judges" blah blah blah... obivious to the fact people can capture this on their iPhone at the touch of a button and put Manchin's two appearances side-by-side.
Here's the infamous photo(s) of Manchin.
If it's past the primary, RINOs absolutely deserve our vote. It's about the caucus, not about purity. It's about winning the Trump agenda, not about principle.
As for being 20 points down, how do you think a dynamic, well-spoken guy like John James will do in Detroit? Against a tired old bag like Debbie Stabenow? Admittedly, she does have a D after her name ...
I have James as the longest of shots, with less chance than Vukmir or Barrasso.
