ABC News has learned that Michael Cohen has entered into a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.

They may want something to report on if the Manafort jury doesn’t convict (or not on very many counts).
If so, they can report instead on the Cohen threat to testify against Trump. That will be the new headline.
IMO Cohen is a bigger scumbag than Manafort. Plus he has closer ties to Trump.

The man is a joke and looking at serious jail time for tax evasion. Being rich is great, being rich and avoiding taxes is even better... Being rich and avoiding taxes via criminal activity is jail time.

IF he does plead guilty = no trial, then he likely will get either immunity or a suspended sentence.
In exchange for damaging dirt (true or not) on President Trump.

Cohen was mainly involved in payoffs to porn stars, not any meetings with Russians. He was not even invited to the meeting in Trump Tower with Don Jr.
Still no evidence of Russia collusion by Trump campaign after 2 years of investigation by angry democrats on Mueller team..
I just heard on network radio news Cohen described as Trump’s “enforcer.” I guess saying that he was Trump’s lawyer might remind people of the violation of attorney-client privilege.
If Mueller believed that Cohen would give him anything really bad on Trump he wouldn’t have passed the case to other prosecutors.
