A former Nazi SS labor camp guard was deported from his home in Queens, N.Y., to Germany, the White House announced in a statement early Tuesday morning.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents implemented a 2004 deportation order against Jakiw Palij, who immigrated to the United States in 1949 and became a citizen in 1957 after concealing his Nazi background, the statement read.

How old IS this dude? I’m guessing there was no resisting arrest or tazing involved.
Why the hell wasn't he deported 14 years ago?
I’m guessing in his 90s.
At least. Even if he was 18 in 1945, everyone 91 at the youngest.
Too bad. My question is, why did it take 14 years to deport a Nazi? The article doesn't provide a very good explanation.
He was 95
ABC News was there when Pajil was removed by wheelchair from his home on Monday, but he did not answer any questions. Looking frail with missing front teeth visible through his white beard, the only noise he made was a pained howl as agents hoisted him from his wheelchair onto the ambulance stretcher.
This has been in the works since he was tracked down in 2003......
I would guess he falls under the new zero tolerance program. We got a long way to zero.
How many old people did he haul out of train cars and throw into a ditch or a shower?
Screw him. I hoped hes lived in fear of ICE coming since 1949.
Of course the senior officers and civilian officials can't claim they didn't know. But how about the privates, corporals and junior clerks? It seems to me that a corporal who does something bad could, perhaps, reasonably claim "I was only following orders" because the penalty for a corporal failing to follow orders was surely execution.
It's been a while since I've seen "Judgment at Nuremburg" and,of course, the men on trail then were judges...not corporals or junior clerks.
I know this topic has been discussed before...often.I'm just keeping my fingers occupied by posting this!
isn’t Trump the Nazi?
Back to Germany, but he's Ukrainian?
And while here probably taught socialist indoctrination at some liberal arts college like other Nazis that came here after WW2???...../sarc

For the entire Obama administration, Obama let a NAZI STAY...
“This has been in the works since he was tracked down in 2003......”
The concept of swift justice is long gone from the US judiciary. The corrupt legal system of today is all about maneuvering, foot dragging, and evasion which enriches attorneys, allows the guilty to avoid punishment, and enables the very wealthy to avoid accountability.
The Ukraine is the place for me
Farm living is the life to lead
Land spreading out so far and wide
Keep Berlin just give me that countryside.
It was the Germans who tried and executed Hitler's henchmen so they probably have first dibs on him.........
He reportedly confessed to being a guard at Treblinka. He claimed refuge status on his immigration application. Good riddance.
Winners get to write history. If the Germans won the war the first people executed would be politicians then military leaders. Bomber Harris and Curtis Lemay and Enola Gay commander Tibbets would have been executed in the town square.
Useful war criminals would be given special dispensation ( think operation paper clip).
