I have sometimes done foreign-language translation work. Have done it for jobs that require a clearance and for jobs that don’t.

non-clearance rate: $15-20/hr.

“cleared” rate: $40-50/hr, plus per diem, travel, etc.

Notice he said “government” consultant but what they’re afraid of is that when they lose their clearance ITS AGAINST THE LAW to get info from like minded liberals embedded in the CIA and other agencies and pass it along to the media.

So right after graduating with a degrees in ENGLISH LITERATURE he goes right to being a C.I.A. analyst in So. Asia & the Middle East?! This hiring makes no sense. Wouldn't someone that had graduated with a degree in some kind of Asian & Middle Eastern studies be more appropriate? Maybe Asian & ME history or a degree in Political science or something? What is also very strange is, since his going right to the C.I.A. with an Eng. Lit. degree to be an analyst, I thought I would see who his parents are which might explain that he had some kind of connections or a foot in the door you might say. I can't find anything on his early life or who his parents are. If anyone finds anything let me know because I am more curious now. (PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT KNOW WHY THIS IS ONE BIG RUN ON PARAGRAPH.
