Former CIA Director John Brennan said Sunday that he is considering taking legal action to try to prevent President Donald Trump from stripping other current and former officials’ security clearances.
Speaking on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Brennan said he’s been contacted by a number of lawyers about the possibility of an injunction in the wake of Trump’s move to revoke his clearance and threaten nine others who have been critical of the president or are connected to the Russia probe.
“If my clearances and my reputation as I’m being pulled through the mud now, if that’s the price we’re going to pay to prevent Donald Trump from doing this against other people, to me it’s a small price to pay,” Brennan said. “So I am going to do whatever I can personally to try to prevent these abuses in the future. And if it means going to court, I will do that.” […]

Every former military person, FBI, CIA ??? could lose their clearances due to the big mouth of Brennan.
This could mean big pay cuts or no job without an active clearance due to the above.
President Trump knows this, and that is why he yanked Brennan's clearance in the open and is talking about it.
Brennan's big mouth has endangered the pocketbooks/income of a lot of people in DC to the West Coast with jobs that require a government approved Security Clearances.
Anyone with half of a functioning brain knows that, and Brennan now knows it.
PO ing and costing former spooks and Spec Op guys a lot of money is not a wise thing to do in DC to the West Coast.
Instead of revoking their security clearances, President Trump should just downgrade them to...... “FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY”.
He is no longer a public employee so shouldn’t have an such benefits.

A security clearance is a privilege not a right, and loosing it when you no longer require it is not a punishment, its how things should work.
I am sure he can find a judge to claim that revoking a communist’s security clearance is forbidden under the First Amendment.
And Brennan is right. Trump is not really fighting. He had his chance to fire Sessions and Rosenstein but now is too late. He missed the chance to release all documents unredacted to the Congress and he did not. Trump is in trouble and he just doesn't get it.
And that is why I don't understand why Pres. Trump does not just ignore such un-Constitutional decisions by agenda-driven judges, such as revocation of Obama's DACA E.O.. Obama's DACA E.O. re-wrote Congressional immigration law. Trumps E.O. counters such and sends it back to the Legislative Branch. It is not a judicial matter.

Great point. Something isn’t right with this over the top reaction from all of these people. There needs to be a new policy that takes it away from everyone when they no longer work in those jobs. It’s just plain common sense.
