Former CIA Director John Brennan said Sunday that he is considering taking legal action to try to prevent President Donald Trump from stripping other current and former officials security clearances.
Speaking on NBCs Meet the Press, Brennan said hes been contacted by a number of lawyers about the possibility of an injunction in the wake of Trumps move to revoke his clearance and threaten nine others who have been critical of the president or are connected to the Russia probe.
If my clearances and my reputation as Im being pulled through the mud now, if thats the price were going to pay to prevent Donald Trump from doing this against other people, to me its a small price to pay, Brennan said. So I am going to do whatever I can personally to try to prevent these abuses in the future. And if it means going to court, I will do that. [ ]
Brennans legal warning came as other officials joined the growing chorus of critics now more than 75 intelligence officials denouncing Trumps security clearance threats, saying they have a right to express their views on national security issues without fear of punishment.

Brennan thinks he can use the courts to create a new Constitutional right.
Like Hillary, he is proving every day why he didn’t merit his position in the government.
I do not care what “the growing chorus of critics now more than 75 intelligence officials” thinks. They were sent there to do a job. It’s not a f@#king club.
I think that’s why they’re so focused on the Appeals Court level.
Since when is a US security clearance an entitlement and not a privilige?
Well, they all seem like double agents to me now.
They don’t take back the Keys to the Kingdom of you decide to move on.
The question is, why not?
Is it like getting Herpes, once you get it you have it for Life?
This is one case, that even if a liberal “judge” ordered the clearance be restored, the Admin would tell him/her to shove it and sit on it.
