LOS ANGELES (AP) — A California woman has said she had to drive herself to the hospital and give birth without her husband after he was detained by immigration agents.
Maria del Carmen Venegas said she and her husband, Joel Arrona Lara, were driving to the hospital Wednesday when they stopped for gas in San Bernardino, just east of Los Angeles.

So he was driving illegally (in a state where most new drivers licenses go to illegals) to a non-urgent, scheduled appointment (no doubt as government expense) having been in the country illegally for 12 years.

Think of all the soldiers wives who give birth to American babies without their deployed husbands...
Its nice but you don’t need the husband in there with you...especially when youre knocked out having a C-Section...
