So, the warnings yesterday were true.
Which I assume means that ultimately they hacked thousands of individual accounts in order to clone them.
You would think it would be possible for ATM manufacturers to program an unhackable chip, they would set off an alert when more than a certain amount of money was being dispensed by an ATM. Such a chip could be completely separate from the normal software.
I wouldn’t be surprised if manufacturers offered such a feature in the near future.
kudos to the agents that nailed this one. good work.
a warning without specifics is no warning...
something bad is going to happen today, to someone.
Ruh-Roh !
I have never used an ATM machine and have no plans to do so in the future. Can I tell the bank not to issue ATM cash?
Why dya think stinky had every ones bank info in his health care scam?
A broken clock is
Correct twice a day.
So who ends up out the money?
The Indian Bank?
The ATM machine operators?
The ATM networks?

If only Facebook and Google and Amazon etc had our banking and medical and our permanent records from school then this would never ever happen......
All,
It appears that the intel the FBI received on the ATM Cash Out attack vector has some validity.
