I know this is an unpopular opinion around here, but all this crap needs to stop. So the guy wants a pink and blue cake, so what? Just bake it! If he was required to write some homo stuff on the cake, then perhaps he could refuse to do that.
Next thing you know we’ll all be refusing to do stuff for one another because I’m straight, you’re gay, he’s black, she’s asian, he’s a Christian, she’s wearing a scarf, he has a gold watch, I don’t like the look on her face... Where does it end? Huh?
What would Jesus do?

What would Jesus do?

Well, He would have at least a couple of options, using His own words and deeds.

He might fashion a whip out of cords and scourge the Civil Rights Commissioners.

More likely, in the instant case, he would tie a millstone around their necks and cast them into the depths of the sea.

It ends when vexatious litigants suffer penalties for their harassment and are forced to make only honest requests of one of any number of equivalent businesses. That directive is well within the bounds and history of current law.

The owner of a business should be able to refuse service to anyone for any reason whatsoever. The simple truth here is that most "public accommodation" laws are blatantly unconstitutional and have no place in a free nation.

So what?

What would Jesus do?

Not bake the cake.

So how long have you had this tendency to want to enslave people?

Just because you offer me money to do something does not mean that I am obliged to do it.

I am not your slave, I am a free person and if I don't want to make a "Hurray for Mao" sign, or design a "Happy Abortion" card or design your "sex before eight or else it is too late" website, I am not going to do it.

That is the right of a free person.

I have no idea what Jesus would do. I DO, however, know that the baker was chosen to bake this particular cake for the same reason he was chosen to bake the cake for the homo couple - because he was a Christian. Now, I am not - but I absolutely do not think that he (or anyone else) should be persecuted in this way just because of his beliefs. So, you have to ask the people that ARE persecuting him the same question. They could, after all, have gone to just about any other baker to get the same cake baked...but they chose HIM.
