Phil Mudd can go from 0-60 faster than a Ferrari. After a long, measured, discussion on CNN this morning about the firing of Peter Strzok [Mudd thought it was the right decision], co-host John Berman invited Mudd, a former CIA and FBI official, to comment on President Trumps failure to mention John McCain during a signing ceremony of the defense authorization bill named in his honor.
Mudd became immediately enraged, going off on this epic rant:
Are you kidding me? Let me get this straight. So the President has insulted everybody from former Presidents Bush and Obama, Rex Tillerson, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina. The guys got the temperament of a second-grader. My mom would have washed my mouth out with soap, and we sit there and say its okay if he does it because hes been doing it for 72 years. You cant even spend 10 seconds to thank a guy whos on his deathbed? Really? Thats what we have to go tell a kid is what is presidential? Unbelievable, John. I mean, it just pisses me off.

McCain (no-name) is for McCain. Let God sort him out soon.
Sorry, Trump don’t play those DC games. When McCain wants to grow up then he can be treated like one.
McCain’s a traitor, less than a nobody. His name is an obscenity. President Trump was right in not mentioning his name. Who cares about a meltdown by leftist media scum Mudd?
“... But Trump could have found a few kind words to say...”
It is said “If you have nothing good to say, it is best to say nothing...”
President Trump did “best”....
He did NOTHING special other than survive getting shot down.
Guess what. I paid my taxes. I support my kids. I didn't steal yesterday. and on and on.... should I get "Praised" for that?
McCain punched his ticket by riding the "hero" thing all the way to the pig trough in the federal government. He married a rich chick after dumping his wife and was pretty much a lying sack of sh#t when it came to "being conservative".
He is and was always a compromised asset to the "Deep State" thanks to his money grubbing hands being caught in the pockets of the Savings and Loan "Keating Five" scandal. That was 4 democrat senators and one little old Republican Senator... McCain. Look that one up and read how he probably flipped for the FBI and had that little tidbit of info in his FBI file.
He was LOVED because he knew his place and played the part of the "Washington Generals" to the liberal/democrat "Harlem Globetrotters". He was a "great" loser and pretender.
I wish he'd do what animals in the wild do..... just go out into the brush under some cover and die.
He is and was NOTHING to me. I wish him no harm or no good.... I wish him nothing.
He will not even be a footnote in history other than as a trivia question or Jeopardy question..."which prominent Senator was lucky enough to marry a woman that owned a beer distributor company and dumped his wife with cancer in order to do that?"
Let the name of McCain be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of the USA. Let the name of McCain be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time.
This fake news has been around for so many years.
McCain wet starting his aircraft did not cause the fire on Forrestal. You can read the report on the fire to learn more.
McCain is many things, but his actions didnt cause that fire.
Its nothing but fake news.
“I paid my taxes. I support my kids. I didn’t steal yesterday. and on and on.... should I get “Praised” for that?”
When we’re on our deathbeds and at our funerals, I think most of us hope to be praised for the good in our lives, whatever the bad might have been.
Why would he? McCain delivered the Dossier that was supposed to take him down.
The RIGHT THING?
Keep digging.
I’m not Dead....
McCain
Yes. Please don’t post the Forrestal meme. We have enough to dislike him for and criticize him for, using that just lets our enemies (and his friends) dismiss us completely, which is their approach.
Let that one go, please. I know of what I speak on this.
McCain helped put the country thru two years of hell by passing on the Steele dossier. He does not deserve any additional worshipful recognition with this defense bill. I don’t care either way if Congress inserted his name on the bill. It’s better than naming some airport after him. Congress feels compelled to name something in his honor. Fine, they did it and it’s on the record. Move on.
McCain’s injuries and behavior in North Vietnam were no more than others also suffered and endured with honor. My pet peeve about the man is that he seems to get an eternal pass on all subsequent behavior because of that. As a Vietnam vet, I have to ask at what point will he have to accept responsibility for the many mistakes and personal faults he has exhibited since then?
Ginsberg has been waiting too long to use that bed!
McCain Accept Responsibility??
That won’t happen.
I agree with you Mark. He didn’t have to necessarily praise McCain, but at least acknowledge him. I like a lot of the things that PDJT is doing, I just wish he would overcome some of his petty nature. Most recent case in point: calling Omarosa a “dog”.
You're right, she's not a dog, dogs are nice.
But under the circumstances, I believe the right, the presidential, the Christian thing if you will, for Trump to have done was to find at least a couple of words of praise for the dying McCain.
Well, even as McCain ponders the hereafter he is still actively sticking it to Trump at every opportunity. Btw, Im an active Christian but I freely acknowledge that Im flawed. I do admire your willingness to forgive. Ill try to do better in the future. But, right now, not for McCain.
Baloney.
