I think it is DOA. It is using Disqus, which is now exercising censorship of comments. That means they didn’t set up their own server and technology to be independent. It is no better than any of us setting up a WordPress or other content management site. Haven’t looked further since it is clearly a cheap and non-serious attempt at competing.

Further, this is labeled as a “conservative” site, so that means they want to be the conservative version of YouTube. DOA because I suspect people would like see welcome of all viewpoints, not have to worry about toeing the corporate group-think.

It’s not DOA. Just gotta adjust to the entities that wanna be part of the resistance/swamp.

Go Real-Video, D-Tube, etc.

I’m 100% off YouTube, Twitter, FB..!

Never really had FB, so no biggie.

Go Deplorables!!!!

All these have to do is gain recognition and they might take down the giants.

He addressed the reasoning and not having a centralized/independent server back in March. I have no idea if his reasoning is correct.

I came across this article when researching his name to learn a little more about him

“Health Ranger announces Real.Video as “the answer to YouTube censorship” … bypass tyranny and censorship with p2p file sharing”

“Real.Video is a p2p file sharing infrastructure for videos and other content (it also supports audio files, PDF files, text files and HTML files). Importantly, Real.Video is not a video hosting site because any centralized hosting platform would be subjected to intense censorship, legal harassment, government raids and all the usual tactics pursued by totalitarian regimes (i.e. the “left cult” in America today) to silence opposition and crush free speech”

I got an invite to do videos there (real.video), but despite them pretending to be a YouTube alternative, without political censorship, the site does not operate without Google Java spybots running on it.

So, no thanks. At least BitChute and d-tube don’t use secretly use Google to run their websites

Went to link got a “system does not support” dead end.

WEME is now being censored by their “cloud” server.

Unless someone can setup a very large server farm freedom of speech on the Internet is just about dead.

Gee. Who gave away control of the Internet with their pen and phone?

They need three things simultaneously to succeed:

* Viewers
* Content Creators
* Advertisers

I hope they have a good plan to get the third one covered as well as the first two. The default access to advertisers on the internet is to use Google's system for it. Its hard to compete with Google that way.

I take it back.

Just went there, and they have made changes since the last time I looked. There is one 'google-javabot' there, but the site WILL run with it disabled, unlike before when it wouldn't show you anything unless you allowed several 'google-javabots' to run.

FYI, I could not post this to any page using Disqus. And since YouTube is owned by Google, they may CENSOR it also, just like Facebook. Maybe you can maybe post it??

FYI: It is worth noting that both Disqus and Fakebook CENSOR any mention of a website, www.CodeIsFreeSpeech.com that provides FREE downloads of 3D-printable firearm blueprints. And, since Facebook/Disqus logins are so prevalent for posting commentary across the Internet, they are very effectively suppressing this “Forbidden Knowledge” almost EVERYWHERE. Please go to the website, download some or all 10 of the free blueprints, and then, repost it to your friends and across the Internet, to the extent you can. Strike a BLOW against Fakebook and judicial CENSORSHIP! Support TWO amendments at once, the First and the Second!

They have to find a way for people to comment without fakebook or disqus. I closed my disqus this week.

EXCELLENT!

Search “dog cat” on www.real.video

What do you notice?

youturd is liberal Big City so dogs only run on stairways inside a house.

real.video is open to the conservative countryside so dogs run free in the grass, river, hills. AWESOME!

youturd is only concrete & asphalt! Bad!

Folks, you are seeing the start of a big change of better suburban videos.

Mike Adams is full of bull puckey.

Dude moans and cries like a little b*tch about his stuff being censored on the interwebs, but try posting a comment on his Natural “News” site that points out a factual inaccuracy in one of the “news” articles that he publishes and see what happens. Same thing will happen if you try it on the naturalnews.com facebook page. (why would he keep that up if he hates facebook?) I was banned from there after one comment that debunked some bs claim in an article they posted.

So I’m gonna call bullsh*t on his stupid real.video thing.

There are a lot of interesting vids there, but one thing that drives me bananas is the constant buffering. I’ve got a good connection and a decent laptop tonight, but the rebuffering is definitely a pita. You guys are going to have to make some pretty rapid changes over there if you’re going to serve to all the traffic that’s likely to come your way, and you’ll have to do it very quickly. If you don’t, people will just blow it off because it doesn’t work well. People are funny that way.

I bookmarked the site and I will check there for news etc. I like the idea of not being beholden to the tube. And, I’ll be sending out links to friends/family who do like to upload vids.

I was hoping someone would jump on the bandwagon and do something like this. It’s a potential money maker, especially as the tube slides into the abyss becoming a shadow of it’s former self...their governing processes suck!
