He got fired for committing treason and conspiring to overturn an election. His anti president Trump tweets were nothing compared to his real crimes.

OMG! What took them so long?

What do ya mean? This widespread government corruption has been going on for 30 years. Trump has only been in office about 1.5 years.

The texts were a symptom and not the disease.

Here’s a relevant Federal retirement guide.

https://ask.fedweek.com/federal-retirement/retirement-eligibility/

It looks like the Rule of 85 is still in effect, but the minimum retirement age is 55, and that is set to step up. Also, for Federal law enforcement (FBI) there is a mandatory retirement at 57. There is a provision for “separation for misconduct/cause.” From the research I’ve done, Federal pensions are forfeited under the “Hiss Act.” (Yeah, that guy). The disqualifying crimes are treason, espionage, plotting to overthrow the government. I don’t see where the list includes things like bribery or official misconduct, but they may have been added as amendments to the Hiss Act.

OH.........NOOOOOS.

How will the FBI ever be able to fire people for having affairs, while married, with their colleagues?!!!!!

“his friends have already set up a go fund me page”

Probably just a mechanism to launder the payoff to buy his silence, and pay for his lawyers.

Given strzok was in HR, maybe he should appeal the firing to himself

Peter Strzok was fired because of what his own text messages plainly showed: he was willing to use his official FBI position to try and stop President Trump from getting elected. His firing is long overdue.

I remember that he fought tooth and nail to stay employed by the FBI long enough to receive his pension so I am assuming that that is the reason.

McCabe and Strzok are total disgraces, I guess that’s Jim Comey’s great legacy that he was proud of - hiring lawbreakers and making a joke of the FBI.

Which reminds me given these two disgraces has disgraceful Comey tweeted about this yet and how proud he is of the department?
