Good. Let the confirmation process begin.

And then Ginsburg, Breyer and Sotomayor’s replacements.

This is about the only place where he’s super efficient and useful. He kept Merrick Garland off the court and got Gorsuch through really well.

I'm honestly not sure what more you want McConnell to do here. He kept Garland off, got Gorsuch confirmed and he's going to get Kavanaugh confirmed before the midterm. Not to mention Trump has had
a record number of his nominated judges to the lower courts confirmed during his first two years. What's the issue?

I was waiting for my train a couple of days ago when a man with a clipboard approached me. He wanted me to sign a petition against confirming Kavanaugh. He launched into a big spiel about how Kavanaugh was such a horrible threat to “the right to choose”. I said to him, “You’re wasting your time. I’m pro-life.” I was afraid he would say something nasty, but he was very polite and moved on to the next commuter. I don’t know what he imagined he would accomplish with his petition, but I guess he was doing his bit for “the resistance”.

That’s why we need to vote to keep the Republican majority in the Senate.

I answered the phone the other day and the caller was a democrat conducting a push poll for the governor’s race. It was the third time they’d called. I asked the pollster, Did you eat the baby she’d killed that morning or just threw it away?”
When she asked an incredulous “What?”
I replied “I think you are a monster.” and hung up.

There is nothing strange here. Confirmation starts 09/04.

Unfortunately we’re gonna loose Justice Thomas to retirement in a year or two. At least we can be confident that we’ll get a good replacement from Trump......
Justice has been a very Conservative Libertarian on the court with both a sense of humor and irony.

I had the exact opposite happen to me at the recent Trump rally in Pennsylvania. Someone walking around with a clipboard and asked me to sign a petition calling for Democrat Bob Casey to vote to confirm Kavanaugh. I told her she was wasting her time, since Kavanaugh doesn’t need Casey’s vote anyway ... and I’d prefer to see Casey show his true colors in an election year like this.
