I think that we are giving way too much attention to AOC.
She’s smarter than the typical representative of majority-minority Democrat vote farms (albeit not a high bar), and given that most of them received their seats as gifts from their family and/or a machine they’d loyally served for years, she’s got a heck of lot more moxy than most of them given she took out the Queens County boss at the age of 28.
We should let her moulder into Maxine Waters self-parody, which I think she’s perfectly capable of doing, and not try to make into some kind of symbol or spokesman of the succession of women and minorities to the roles of white men in society, because she’s not a bad spokesman for that.
