igh above one of the most hotly contested regions in the world, CNN was given a rare look Friday at the Chinese government's rapidly expanding militarization of the South China Sea
Aboard a US Navy P-8A Poseidon reconnaissance plane, CNN got a view from 16,500 feet of low-lying coral reefs turned into garrisons with five-story buildings, large radar installations, power plants and runways sturdy enough to carry large military aircraft. During the flight the crew received six separate warnings from the Chinese military, telling them they were inside Chinese territory and urging them to leave. "Leave immediately and keep out to avoid any misunderstanding," a voice said.

You mean like:
"We will fire the fastest most excellent missiles at you that the world has ever seen. You won't believe how fast they are. And they are yuge."
LOL, good one.
How do they reply to these messages?
—
Hi. Yes. I’d like an order of pork-fried rice. Some egg rolls. An order of General Tso’s chicken and some scallion pancakes. No MSG, please.
Russian submarine activity highest since the Cold War - US Navy admiral just yesterday
This simply gives President Trump more justification to impose tariffs on China and impose other measures on them.
The very moment they fire on one of our airplanes or ships (it’s coming) then I hope President Trump imposes an immediate and complete trade embargo on the bandit regime that runs China.

Yes. Outside of the Anglo-Saxon world, hyperbole works better than matter-of-fact. They assume that your understated facts are really hyperbole and that leaves them less than impressed.
“Is there a replacement?”
Even the satellite tech we had contemporaneous with the Blackbird’s last decade was a very decent stand-in. What we have in orbit these days, I don’t precisely know, but sensor and imaging tech have come a long ways further.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they can point Hubble wherever they want, as well.
WHY is the Navy flying CNN around?
Definitely a concern. One day, they'll make the mistake of firing on one of our aircraft and or ships.
That’ll be the end of their fake islands for sure, but will lead to a pretty ugly conflict with our trading frie....wait!
Tell me again why our government has allowed so much of our industry to be controlled by communist?
Pretty easy to take out each island with conventional weapons, administered through the auspices of the Phillipines, and even Vietnam— who really can’t stand the chi-coms. The Russians lined up on their border with North Korea, when the Chinese did the same on their borders. Russians don’t like these bases any more than we do. Might need to go way past old style detente.
Get the Japanese involved. After all, the chi-coms are merely replicating the old Empire’s Greater East Asian Cooperative Region (the original Japanese imperial expansion in the S. Pacific and over into the Indian Ocean). This is a big deal these chinee bases. And Diane Feinstein has some major splaining to do along with the clintoonians. She is some piece of work.
Our NeoCons’ forcing Russia into China’s arms is the biggest strategic blunder in recent history.
I wonder if Elon’s Boring company could build an underwater boring machine that undermines these islands.
BTW there is little difference between the Hubble and the KH-13.
But they promised!!!
As in Cattle type or ️ Branding ?
Yes why has our government allowed so much of our industry to be controlled by China?
Could it be because so much of our government is controlled by globalists that do not put USA 1st. We and they took Chinese out of bicycles and made them rich and powerful. Louis Dobbs etc were saying it forever.
It’s entirely possible that the black birds had additional functionality which was not widely known even after their retirement.
So they dont have any Wings !
There is that little Boeing X thing that the Airforce would launch every now and then to orbit for months on end.
