Less than 3 is greater than 4.1.

Maybe because Obama was working for Iran instead of us.

Overall economic growth is the same, and job growth is slightly slower.

False. Intellectually dishonest to compare the best of Obama 8 years to Trumps 2 years

Because of tax cuts and eliminating regulations that stifled growth.

When people say that Obama was responsible for the good economy, always ask them to identify the actions that he took to help. They never can. Trump lowered taxes, and reduced regulations with the help of a Republican Congress. Obama’s economy improved notice only after the Republicans took ver Congress.

In desperation, they might give the totally phony argument that Obamacare helped. But if that were the case, the economy would be getting weaker because Obamacare has been eroded.

The data source for this article ends with data from 2016. Kinda makes me wonder if the NYT has slanted things just a tad. Also, the post about "real wage slump" is also suspect, and ignores the fact that take-home pay has gone up, more than offsetting the suspect "real wage slump". The NYT spins stuff so much, you can't even read it without throwing up.

Obligatory reminder that Chait isn’t a robust thinker:

“The third reason to prefer a Trump nomination: If he does win, a Trump presidency would probably wind up doing less harm to the country than a Marco Rubio or a Cruz presidency. It might even, possibly, do some good.” (February 5, 2016)

I didn't click (clickbate) the article, so, in the end, not sure where he is going.. BUT.. he contradicted himself in the first 2 bullet points:

"
(1) Trump is not very popular.

(2) Given his scandals and wildly unpresidential conduct in office, Trump is surprisingly popular."

Which is he, "not very popular" or, "surprisingly popular"?

I've never heard of him, but this is what I pulled up.
Have at it :p

Insane, liar and corrupt are very apt words to describe people like this with their “facts”.

Why? Because there is a real leader running the Executive branch of government.

Makes sense.

It was G W Bush’s economy when Zero was in office.
