Video at link.
A Facebook spokesperson said Tuesday that the company has lifted its block on California Republican Elizabeth Hengs campaign ad showing photos of the Cambodian genocide.
Upon further review, it is clear the video contains historical imagery relevant to the candidates story, said Facebook in an email to the Washington Times. We have since approved the ad and it is now running on Facebook.
Ms. Heng received a message from Facebook last week saying that the ad violated the companys policy against shocking, disrespectful or sensational content, including ads that depict violence or threats of violence.

‘Who The Hell Made Facebook the Arbiter of Political Speech? - Senator Ted Cruz
Only when the light is shined at the cockroaches running Facebook is anything done. If the episode had not been in the news, there would never have been an apology and matters righted. The leftists at Facebook will do whatever they can get away with. Sure, they said it was a mistake, but I bet the person who designated the post and video as racist was still given a pat on the back nonetheless.
Bow before your new masters, Ted, or pass legislation breaking them up into a million pieces.
Time to poop or get off the pot.
This is the best thing to happen to her. Do you know how much free publicity she has gotten out of this? Her story has gotten out more now than previously. This should boost her campaign.
I believe it was Victor Davis Hanson that had written an article in National review comparing and contrasting her and Ocasio Cortez. How the lamestream media are going ga-ga over the new young face of the Democratic party and crickets are sounding about Elizabeth Heng. And they wonder why they are called fake news. It’s not just about the news you put out there, it’s about the news you omit...
Bump!
Bow before your new masters, Ted, or pass legislation breaking them up into a million pieces.
Time to poop or get off the pot.
><
And what are you doing about it?
Support Free Republic, Folks!
Exactly...Congress and the Senate allowed it to happen.
Good.
And look how much publicity this fabulous woman received! It couldn’t have worked out better.
Amen, she deserves it and pray she’s elected.
All those whom have abdicated the responsibility of defending the republic
Yes it was shocking, disrespectful and sensational for her to be blocked in the first place.
People are leaving FB at an accelerating rate. Censorship is loosing them a lot of revenue. As it should.
everyone started posting the link to their facebooks feeds making it go viral..so facebook saw it was going to get a bunch of free advertising and decided they wanted the spend.
Nope. There’s a perfectly good facebook alternative, https://mewe.com
Just joined yesterday. It works pretty much the same as fb but mewe is big on privacy. The CEO is a patriot and as of now, 90% of the “Groups” under the Politics category are conservative, Pro Trump, Pro 2nd etc
No really good replacement for twitter yet as gab is high maintenance to prevent seeing crap and the system is sluggish even with the small number of members.
Now google, that’s a monopoly right there. 90% of all web searches and 80% of all web advertising and then there’s Android, one of two main choices for a phone OS.(I can’t afford an iphone so android it is)
real.video and bitchute.com for videos but they don’t have the advantage that youtube has since it’s owned by google and so is basically tied into google’s ads. Still, if all conservatives stay off of fb and youtube and avoid using google, it would make a difference.
Ooooh! Thank you, marse Mort! Thank you!
