The Judges sense a power vaccum in the justice department.
Since Sessions is ‘invisible’ most the time on big issues of the day, the judges are not afraid to kick more sand into his face. They are not afraid to act as though there presently is no Attorney General at all. Most judges have a sky high ego and embrace all opportunities to show their powers and your lack of the same.

But will they ignore it or follow the judge’s ruling?

I think a case can be made the part of the reason for the judge’s decision was poor preparation and execution by the DOJ. Sessions’ fault!!!

“Sessions added that the judge had effectively “eviscerated” the legal authority of the executive branch and Congress, and strongly suggested the administration would appeal the ruling.”

Jeff continues to disappoint. This response makes it sound like the Legislative and Executive branches are powerless against the Judiciary, which they are not.

If the ruling was improper, then ignore it.

I don’t see anything in the Constitution that says a court judge gets to dictate to the Executive branch how to exercises its Constitutionally delineated powers.
